Hello - happy new diary
Just spent a few quiet mins reading up to here now kids have gone back to school - yay - it is so quiet even though there is still one homeMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19
Debt £2547.60 / £2547.600 -
I made it to 5pm. Just.
The heat got the better of me this afternoon and i'm zonked! I think it also got to the kids as they spent the ENTIRE afternoon arguing, fighting, screaming and generally being pains in the buttocks
They also probably went home complaining I'm horrible as I banned them all from the trampoline as they weren't listening:rotfl:
I've had a quick clean of the front room & kitchen today. Washing is up to date and so is the washing up. I intended on coming straight home after lunch with the two smaller ones but they had hatched a plan whilst they were supposed to be learning and instead they demanded to go to the zoo. I took them and it was so hot nearly all the animals they wanted to see were in hiding (penguins, monkeys....i did say let's go see the lions they are always sunbathing in this, but no they wanted to see all the ones hiding )
A nsd. Oh hang on no it wasn't I bought ice-creams as we'd drunk all our drinks half way round the zoo...£4.50 spends! I couldn't find free water anywhere to top up the water bottles ?!
I've told the kids it's nearly 7pm, they are none the wiser as usually when the other kids go they come in have 30 minutes with me and go off for showers & bedso i've told them that I am feeling super nice and they can have 60 minutes watching t.v and colouring and they get to go to bed late when in actual fact it will be an hour early they are going up
oh the joys of young kids that can't tell the time :rotfl: They are so tired though and they won't go to bed early if they know it's early  oh i'm a bad mummy i'll admit it

27 fling boogie?
I've told myself its later than it is and am taking advantage of OH being in work to ho to bed early. Think I may be about to come down with something as I've been cold for most of the day

Granny x) I believe the 27 fling boogie is when you put on the music and dance about and grab 27 things to 'fling' in the bin(or recycling/charity) At least that's what I do
