Did they test you for thyroid and Vitamin D deficiency too? It's not normal to be THAT tired after 12 hours sleep, but on the other hand you do lots and lots so it's no wonder you are tired.
 to Canada with no warning! :j to saving money while he isn't here though.

Yes was tested for bothboth apparently came back normal? Haven't actually seen the dr just spoke to the receptionist but I don't want to waste drs time for her to say the same thing. I have always done lots with my time so it's nothing new ....i'm hoping it's not age?! I'm only 35 :rotfl: so am assuming there is some underlying matter. Interestingly i've just spoken to a friend on messenger and she suggested it could just be stress/depression as your body goes into over drive trying to normalise/process the stress and upset and that's what could be making me tired? I'm no dr and was useless in biology so just agreed :rotfl: but thinking about it perhaps that's all it is? I am super unhappy living here and with barely any friends so often get upset and stressed over the stupidest things
. I am super upset these last few weeks as a friend who i have left here is moving on and her husband got the transfer that my husband was turned down for so i've very mixed emotions as i'm happy for her (she also hates it here) and also upset we didn't get it (it's very close to where we want to buy so would cut commute by 2 hours) Oh well I don't know. It also means when she goes I have only one friend left. She's due to move before new year too so that's been playing on my mind
every time i make a friend they move. I've given up now but life is lonely when you have none! xx

Totally agree it could be stress/depression. I've been wondering the same about myself. I'm sorry to hear about your friend though. Hopefully it will be your turn to move soon and you can start over with new friends in a new place. Hugs XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

When a couple of friends first moved away I have to agree I also thought "great, got time to do my shopping/housework now" but a couple of friends have turned into ALL of them come the new year and I will have several very lonely months ahead I think before I goplease-let-me-be-lucky wrote: »Totally agree it could be stress/depression. Oh interesting mine comes in waves like yours and I just feel floored like I've been run over or something. Aches, pains and exhaustion. It's not nice is it especially when you're so used to being on the go, go, GO! I wondered about cfs too. My aunt had it, another aunt had ME, grandma, sister and mum have fibromalgyia and all symptoms are similar to how I feel. Theirs also comes and goes. I don't want to be labelled alongside them harsh as that sounds as all they do is moan even when they're having a good day/ week. I'd rather keep it to myself I think as they'll expect me to join in :rotl: interestingly I've noticed particularly with my sister that hers flares up when she's upset or stressed so I guess it's all linked really xxxMortgage Overpayments 2024/25 - September-December, £152.46. I generally keep it myself too as my mum is seriously lazy but blames it on a medical condition :rotfl: when really she loves her bed more than anything xx so I refuse to complain as I will not be compared to herNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050

Just to chime in here (sorry, it feels a bit weird when I mostly lurk on your thread and then just stick me oar in) close family member of mine was diagnosed with chronic fatigue, she would have been about your age when diagnosed. The physical symptoms were absolutely real. However she also says looking back now - she has since recovered in that she doesn't experience those symptoms - she says she comes from a background where people don't 'do' depression. She also says that whether she was able to articulate what was going on mentally/ emotionally or not, her body made the choice for her. It was one of those weird ones where the physical symptoms are absolutely, completely real but the cause is a bit murkier. It's also clear looking back that she was under a large amount of stress, with high demands and workload.
She recovered by accepting that her job was to get well, and accepting that 'just getting on with it' actually was detrimental to her health. It was a weird time to be around, and I don't think it was easy for her to not just push on as she normally would. Am sharing because I think it's worth taking what body is telling you seriously, and being well is also worth taking seriously. Wellbeing encompasses mental health too.
However you feel most comfortable addressing it, I'd keep bugging for support and ruling out other medical diagnoses..and also start putting in more things that support your wellbeing into your routine. So housework may slip. So what. So you may slow on debt repayment. So what. It's the spoons thing. You have so much energy, choose wisely where you invest it. Health is the biggest priority.0
