  • DH came home early yesterday and yoga ran over time so I didn't have time to post :) I ended up doing 2 hours of yoga  half hour was devoted to meditation (I can do that. ..) and an hour and a half to actual yoga (I struggled to do this) I think my friend and I should be proud of ourselves though after all we turned up to an advanced class and survived (just) to the end!! I can't move today though :o.

Spends yesterday: £8 on class, £3 parking (friend drove), £13 on snacks and cheeses for dh for the weekend.

Today is another spendy day although in the post yesterday I got my £20 sh3ll voucher for petrol so only need to put a little towards this for petrol now. I also need to pop out quickly before we go to kids party as I need tights or leggings! It's freezing here and I will need to start wrapping up warm I think so tights id a start and I have a budget for clothes now (well an envelope anyway lol)

Please excuse any typos I'm on my phone and the auto correct is a nightmare!

  • I'm still achy after my yoga class !

Yesterday was spent travelling, listening to 40+ 4/5 year olds screaming and a nice meal out. We spent £20 on petrol (£20 voucher used as well and the £20 cash was from petrol budget). We spent £37 on food & drinks :T which I thought was pretty good. I came home with bags full of food too after my SIL was going to throw it all away  she'd made too much sandwiches etc for the party and I said i'd have them if she were going to throw it out (they're in the freezer will take out as I need them). I now have at least enough sandwiches for the week's packed lunch for the smaller ones anyway :T I also have a whole load of fruit/veg bags but i'm not sure how long they will last so I will use those as snacks for the childminded kids as well as my own until they run out. :T. I also came back with a bottle of wine after winning a 'guess how many things are in the jar' prize :)

Today I need to pop to the shops as we have no milk or juice. And school uniforms need ironing and also the house needs hoovering :( nothing interesting here.

I've written down what meals we are having this week and the first one is a meal already cooked in the freezer ;) nice and easy for tomorrow then :D.

Hope everyone is well I will try and catch up with you all later on :)

  • 235/450 on the food budget so far. I can't update my signature atm.

Dinner is on, roast gammon with lots of veg :) I've been shopping food came to 15.77 for the week am hoping it lasts the week now.....!

I've done the washing but still have to iron uniforms. Kids are super tired so early night I think (for me too!!) Not much else to report aside from the fact it's freezing and I don't know how we will last to end of October with no heating  ! Hot water bottles are out and are being used already today!

I'm just trying to hold OH off from putting the heating on until October. Going to pop up the big thick curtains today instead of my nice flowy, not so insulated, see-through ones. Hoping that'll get us an extra week. I need to find this weeks flying list :)

Hi there it really is getting cold now. My daughter has been sent to school today in a viking costume we gathered together whilst it was warm - poor girl looked freezing. Anyway i suggest lots of throws and snuggly pjs to keep warm. My OH wont wear anything to bed (sorry for that picture) but then complains its too cold! I will not put the heating on though as i have done well to keep it under control up til now and dont want to ruin things.

I ment to say the other day if your kids and child minding kids are always hungry perhaps a small mug of homemade veg soup might help to fill the gap and generally pretty cheap to make - i made a load in the SC last year. Would fill them up on a small budget maybe - just an idea :)

Hope moving today after yoga session is a little easier
