Was lovely and i'm glad we went yesterday as have had storms all day so far today
Loopy next door has lost her dog/got rid of dog/put in quarantine ready for the move??? (one or the other am assuming as we've not seen her for a few days) They've sold their car and put up the army issue curtains at the back (I don't go out the front door much so not sure if they've done them all) They've been hoovering/cleaning/ scrubbing everything like mad so i'm assuming they must (please?!!!!!!!!!!) be going soon. After the last altercation with her smirking out her window at me she's totally avoided all contact with me (YAY :j ) so I think she feels a bit of a fool (bout time she's realised that one :rotfl:) and will hopefully continue to avoid me forever more and a day
as soon as she goes I will be here with party poppers and  celebrating!

hello!
I've spent the morning cleaning my kitchen  and buying plastic storage for storage containers/plastic bottles and tupperware   every time I opened a kitchen cupboard something would fall on me  so having spent £40 on storage I hope to have solved this problem now. Really not impressed at spending £40 on it though
Anyway DH is cooking dinner today, MIL is still here (when is she going?!) and i'm feeling really hormonal so not got a lot planned today as I don't think my fragile emotional state could cope with it
here's hoping I feel better tomorrow

Put off the food shop for another day :T but 3 packs of toffy pops fell into my basket when buying the storage
oops! I will enjoy those though, my favourites as a child
Hope everyone is well and just a quickie today again as battery is dying and can't find charger (does this mean I need to buy more storage to house chargers that I keep losing :rotfl:)Mortgage Overpayments 2024/25 - September-December, £152.46. I have been a good girl and taken every day! Dh on the other hand having given up smoking with these e-cigarette things (which I hate just as much) has been so moody and angry thus making me feel even more down than I already am with my monthly (which thankfully is not as bad as it used to be eh
) ....should I crush some AC and feed it to him too :rotfl:

Hi DFW
I love organised storage boxes in the kitchen as well, all is in order until DD bakes and then she just shoves packets etc back into the cupboard
I bought some kilner jars for flour etc and feel posh when I bake now :rotfl:
Take care x0 -
I totally get the 'opening cupboards and things falling on you' scenario. we have a Tupperware cupboard and every time that opens its like a waterfall of plastic lids lol.
Sure toffee pops have gotten smaller too - they disappear too quickly here so don't buy them too often. Enjoy this week and hope mother in law doesn't outstay her welcome

Hi DFw, :hello:
Sounds like things are looking up in your world! :T
MILs can be useful (I'd be devastated if any of my DS' partners couldn't wait for my visit to end!). ..Good chance for you and DH to go out on 'romantic' dates without having to rush home to relieve the baby-sitter.

Totally agree Robin - nice to see them but a leaving date is also good. I always feel i am on my best behavior and cant quite relax fully until they have gone home - but maybe i don't have a great MIL like you are:)Me, DD1 20, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/190
