Evening all!
Well I'm exhausted i've been to dad's house for the weekend and we left only hours after waving off the SIL who had arrived shortly after we'd waved off the MIL so we've done our bit for family socialising I think for now anyway. We spent way too much on food whilst away but that was the only budget blown really. I have also spent money on kids clothes but that couldn't be avoided as both little ones had had a growth spurt and for anyone reading my diary long term you may remember me stretching their clothes over last autumn/winter as it was so poor ds2 (just turned 5 ) was in 3-4 clothing
and DD (just turned 6) was in 4-5 and when we measured her up she had skipped the next age range and jumped straight into clothes for 8years :eek: so anyway we had to buy those. DS1 also needed some new shoes. He buys his own clothes now but he'd spent his month's money already on some jeans and going out and about so I picked up some cheap ones for £15 for him. I felt sorry for him as he'd split up with his girlfriend too and was feeling a little sorry for himself
young love eh....!
So we stayed 3 nights at dad's house rather than the 1 that was planned. We went out on his boat for one day which was fun (but expensive at the thames riverside pub we stopped at ) I had walked past a famous person twice whilst in there and hadn't realised until my dad went over and said hello(apparently they'd met at my dad's local pub the night before!) I was more taken with the rod stewart looky likey who wasn't actually him but did a great impression of being him anyway.
So this weekend is dad's garden party which we've managed to arrange a baby sitter for and which should hopefully be cheap as we're out of money until the rental money comes through my bank! He also wanted us to go up the weekend after but not sure if we can afford to do that too, petrol is very expensive!
Anyway early night for me, this probably doesn't make much sense and is all over the place, so i'll be back when fully rested I think to edit no doubtMortgage Overpayments 2024/25 - September-December, £152.46. Only famous/exciting if you like big hairy blokes offering cooking tips when they're not on their bikes
was supposed to be at meditation group this morning but she's cancelled thankfully as I'm shattered! I need to do a proper reconcile with my ynab and bank as I'm £80 off  feeling much better after around 10 hours sleepso that will be number one job today as well as washing and more washing! Also need to find a dress to wear at weekend and nothing is suitable in my wardrobe
might have to buy something! Will be back later no doubt

Hello me again!
Well I have done 3 washes and the last is drying outside
I went to n3xt but couldn't find anything nice to wear to a garden party so popped in to sainsbug on the way home and found they were having a 25% off sale :T Found a few bits that fitted and looked ok but it made me realise that I am getting FAT again and need to start exercisingI felt very dumpy in everything! So I picked up the 2 most flattering things and bought both as one was already 50% off and then with another 25% off it was super cheap and I can wear in Autumn with boots & tights :T. I also picked up a new cardie and some new vests as it was all so cheap so I did have a right old spend up really  and need to find money to cover it from somewhere
So on my list for when the kids go back to school will be - EXERCISEsomething I hate the thought of, the actual doing of but like the after effects of, so must keep that in mind :rotfl:
I may be getting a new neighbour in a month or so and i'm quite/ worried/anxious about it. I knew it wouldn't stay empty forever but after last time I really am feeling quite on edge about it all.
Bought some quinoa today too and almond milk. I know what to do with the milkbut not sure what to do with the quinoa, anyone got any ideas? The packet is tiny too  not sure if it will feed all 5 of us?! I keep hearing about how good it is for you instead of pasta/rice so thought I would give it a go
Anyway off to do the banking now I hope everyone is ok xxMortgage Overpayments 2024/25 - September-December, £152.46. J- £103.27, F- £115, M- £91.50, A- £100, M- £200, J- £200. J- £200. A-£200, S- £221.34. O-£200EF- £642.41/500
