I've had a good weekend really, all in all. On Saturday DH was in London for the entire day so we just chilled out at home and watched t.v. I got a phone call at 9pm from a drunken DH that he was stranded and the coach had left without him  I ended up driving all the way to Twickenham and back which took me 4 hours. I could barely keep my eyes open by the time I got home. I was so annoyed with him, he can't handle his drink and stupid things like this happen all the time, I just wonder why a 36 year old man hasn't yet twigged to the fact he can't handle his drink and learnt to curb it (Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr:mad:) Anyway, Sunday was much better and we went to the cinema after chilling out in the garden in the morning. Spiderman 2 was great and we watched in 3d which was a first for DD, DS2 & DHthey all loved it (even though I felt like leaving DH home on the naughty step!!!) and we took a little picnic in with us to minimise expenses. Also used my 0deon card and parked a mile away from town for free parking, still though cost was around £38! Yesterday we ended up at a national trust place even though we hadn't set out to go there, we kind of stumbled across it :rotfl:. DH's sisters' came up for the day with their partners and kids so we took a picnic and went to the river, was very odd though as one of the husbands decided to throw a complete strop and walked off and left us all  we carried on and between us we 4 times spotted him by bushes a few hundred yards behind us?! How strange?!!!! He'd got into a fight apparently with DH's sister (his wife) in the car and so decided to be an utter fool and do this instead of forgetting the argument and carrying on with the day?! Oh the argument was about where to park .....:rotfl: it reminded me of arguments i've had with DH but we have never done anything as strange as this :rotfl: When their two children kept throwing tantrums to get their own way all day long, I could see where they had gotten it from! Anyway aside from that strange part to the day and the unexpected trip to London it was a good weekend overall
Petrol spends are not great though thanks to all the BIG and little trips so will have to have a look at the bank account today and see how it is
Hope everyone has had a good weekend
Glad your Dad was relaxing.
Boo, hiss to DH - what would have happened if you'd treated yourself to a drink and couldn't pick him up?
As for the husband - sure it was the husband, sure sounds like a child - what a plonker!
Hope this week is calmer.0 -
Hi
I've finally caught up with you! Have been reading over the last few weeks. You certainly have a way with words. It's been like reading a nov in instalments.
I'm sorry to hear about your father. I hope the scan is positive news. Bowel cancer is one with a good prognosis but I guess the earlier found the better. You must be so worried. Do look after yourself.
I don't understand why you've taken on extra payments for your OH without his giving you the extra to cover them? I know he went od but he might again! Also has he offered to top up the fuel pot after your epic round trip? I'd have thought the thank you for that would be at least an equivalent amount of money to the sum he spent on the coach, rugby tickets, food out and beer.

:rotfl: I did feel like telling him I'd had a drink when he rang, slurring and spluttering down the phone! But when he mentioned that he'd brought his credit card and would just get a (black) cab home I hit the roof, went and got dressed and drove to get him! I've since had the petrol money back, not managed to get the CC off of him yet though. He's clearly not learned any lessons being in debt, because muggins over here has shouldered all the carp we've been through and nearly always let him have what he wants even if he has to wait a while! Grrrrrrr! Stoopid husband!! As for the other husband.....hmmmm well I haven't stopped giggling about that so I think it was quite a good thing he acted like an utter plonker, he's cheered me up :rotfl:Hi

V xDH had only just spent a fortune on flowers and chocolates to be delivered when he went and did stoopid thing #2 so I think he'd run out of money pretty much. He only spent around £30 in london thankfully as Rugby hadn't ended until 3pm ish and he was calling me at 8pm nearly in tears (:rotfl:) at being left behind by his mates. Well that will teach him; actually it probably won't, will it?! I've since milked it in the fact he's been helping do dinners, take kids to school etc

Good Moaning to all, Yep that is what I have thus spent my morning doing, moaning.
. I am hormonal, worried about dad, hormonal, peed off with my phone contract and hormonal
.
Anyway, back to the contract- I am with 3. They are rubbish by the way, if you were wondering. I've never had a flipping signal in my house and complained several times in the shop in town. To be told, " yeh, like, you wouldn't get a signal there wud ya, like *snigger*" SO after a few failed attempts to sort it out I gave up and paid (stupidly might I add) £25 a month for a phone that has no signal in my house, whatsoever. Now I missed 4 calls yesterday from my dad and it got me thinking what if this cancer is, dare I say it, terminal, and then what if I miss an important call telling me to get over there asap and of course, I wouldn't get this uber important call until the morning after on the school run. So i called up 3 as I was hormonal and a bit annoyed that I had missed these calls, they are running checks to see if I qualify for a booster. If they try to charge me for this booster I will tell them to stick it, but if it's free then I will take it and hope the issues go away. I would like to know why I wasn't told about this when I first joined up and complained then though? Probably because I went to the shop in town where every single member of staff thought they were actually on TOWIE and were not bothered by their job but instead doing their nails, flirting with the opposite sex and generally ignoring real customers . So anyway I'm pacified for now as the Indian chap on the phone was lovely and sounded just like my Grandad, let's hope it doesn't need to go to round 2 in 48 hours when checks are done on my line/signal as i'll be in full blown *hormonal mode* by then:D
Aside from that I had a cat cross my path like it was doing cotton-eyed-joe with me all the way back from school- it wasn't black so I am hoping this doesn't mean bad luck??? (yes sadly i'm a superstitious idiot) I accidentally stood on it's paw, three timeswas never any good at that dance
I've hung out the washing, have another load on and guess what, the sun has gone in and it's threatening rain. Shall I just retire to bed now and be done with today :rotfl:
Oh good news is- I have a free hair cut tomorrow, a lady is trying to get new business in the area as she's just moved here so is offering free cuts :T she can't be any worse than I am at cutting my own hair so win-win :rotfl:. Also I had 200g of fruit & nut *ahem* chocolate *coughcough* for breakfast and am feeling much better than I was
I'll quit my moaning now and go take the dog for a walkThanks for listening!

I've finally got a booster box thing coming in the post
for free! Hope it helps as I'm so worried about missing a call!
Weather has been sunny/cloudy/rainy all day it's driven me bonkers as the washing has been in and out several times  I've given up and left it in now and typically the clouds disappeared and the sun came out :rotfl:
I went into town and bought myself two pairs of shoes. One for the garden and dog walking (very unattractive but comfy and from the charity shop so they were cheap) and another pair for everything elsethey didn't have my size so I had to order some which will be delivered to me.....I really hope they fit now ! I'm hoping it will put an end to my bad hip which I'm convinced is because of dodgy shoes I've been wearing! Xx

Fab news about the free haircut and booster box. We are all with 3 also and they used to be rubbish for signal round here, but it's been much better over the last couple of years. Previously to that though MiL had such poor reception DH organised a little booster sticker that you put on the back of the phone itself. It was from ebay and it worked really well. Hopefully you won't need it but it's something else to think about if you do. XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I believe your breakfast can be classified as 'medicinal'
Fingers crossed the booster helps.
Sounds as if you've met the cat I occasionally come across a couple of streets from my house. S/he is tabby with a white belly and is a bit of a scaredy cat, rather skittish and I'm always afraid it's going to rush into to the road. Otherwise, it's very affectionate and will stay for a bit of stroking, especially under the chin. The trouble comes when I try to move off home, it doesn't so much follow me as walk in front of me. If I walk on the left of the pavement - it goes to the left, so I go to the right - it goes right. And so on. I sometimes think to anyone walking behind I must look as if I'm weaving like a drunken sailor (or, forgive me, your DH after the rugby). But it's a nice kitty and it always cheers me up to see it.
If the booster doesn't work, enjoy introducing the TOWIE wannabe's to a hormonal woman in full flow. Won't hurt them to do their job!0 -
