So very sorry to hear about your dad, hopefully the MRI will bring some reassuring news. Sending lots of good thoughts and virtual hugs. In some ways virtual friends can be better than real-life ones as there will always be someone here for you whenever you want a rant or a shoulder to cry on. :grouphug:

Sorry to hear this news, hope dad is ok and remember to look after yourself as it's all too easy to neglect yourself when worrying about loved ones

  • Pay day today, bank isn't looking the best it's ever been though and neither is my spreadsheet, if I get no more money in this month then I will be £30 short overall. DH should be giving me some money later though so it should balance out overall. This isn't including any money for the ISA, that will have to come from rental money and any extra DH gives me on top of the £30 shortfall I have.

We had a huge row last night, I think DH is being so insensitive right now to me. I didn't do very much housework yesterday but it was tidy and i'd hung the washing out. I forgot to put the DW on so he went absolutely mental at me when he got home from work, screaming and shouting about me being lazy :( I think he has it very easy usually I do absolutely everything for him. I said to him shall I put the dinner on and I got grunted at that he'd already done it as clearly I was too lazy to do it. Actually i'd kindly (i thought) waited until he got home so that he could eat it hot (only spag bol from the freezer) what a w@N5er!!!!! I'm so upset. He hadn't eaten anything all day so i know it's because he was hungry, however instead of staying to eat he was going to go straight back out to rugby. I sulked off upstairs so the shouting and him banging about in the kitchen would stop and then I got moaned at because he couldn't go to rugby because i'd neglected the kids alone (!!!!!! he was sat downstairs with them!?) I'm so upset, i have no one to talk to about my dad and by the time he asks at 10pm I don't want to discuss it anymore as I don't want it to be the last thing on my mind as i'm going to sleep. I'm so fed up right now it's unbelievable. I can't believe he is being this way. If the shoe were on the other foot I'd be so supportive of him :(:( sorry for rant really needed it though as feeling so close to tears constantly lately :(

Suppose I had best go and do the cleaning for Lord Feeckwit and then get some food shopping in xx

Oh honey I'm so sorry you feel so alone at a time like this.

    Hugs

Sadly some people need things spelled out for them even though when this happens they are fully supportive

  • Thank you Granny :) I had a big bunch of flowers in a pot delivered along with some chocolates from him this afternoon. A sorry would have been nicer if I'm honest but I will accept the silent apology I suppose ;)

Same here, every time! I think I would rather the words actually come out of his mouth than a box of chocs. I know that probably sounds totally ungrateful too as some people wouldn't get either (I usually get neither actually but he knows he's overstepped the mark this time!) and he would usually give me the silent treatment even when he's in the wrong. Grrrrr! I messaged him earlier apologising (sarcastically :o) for not having his dinner on the table and the house spotless and thanked him for putting me in my place and that today I would try to be a good wife :rotfl: I wonder if he took it seriously and sent the flowers as appreciation that i've learnt my place :rotfl: (hopefully not hey as I was most definitely being sarcastic!!!)

Not spoken to dad today he's gone quiet so I think I will leave him be for a few days as he's busy with work and moving house (can you believe it!!) and I will make sure I call on Sunday before the MRI. DH thinks we should visit at the weekend but I think it might be invading their space at a time when he's already got a lot on (that's how i'd feel anyway) so i've said no, I've also said no as DS1 doesn't know yet and whilst we could possibly keep it from the younger two if we visit unfortunately DS1 will pick up on it. DH thinks I am now being insensitive *sigh*!

Meditation evening tonight and I was going to cancel but actually I think more than ever do I need it tonight! So i'm off in a mo and will hopefully return more relaxed!

Spends today were on food- £130 () & petrol- £25 I was naughty in the food shop and threw lots of goodies in :o hence me going over by a lot! Oops! I also bought salmon & haddock in a bid to eat more fish rather than meat and that was over £10 for just those two. DH won't eat it so I had to buy him chicken breast instead so that was another expense. Far too many sweets popped into the trolley though so i've hidden some with the thought of keeping some till next week....we'll see how that pans out though :p :rotfl:
