Check the " rates " section as this is the amount u will have to pay Rebtel / minute, even if u use ur free inclusive minutes...
I must have spent hours reading all the info about cheap calls from mobiles, but what I want to know is - when I go abroad to Uganda, can my partner call me at a low rate from his mobile to my mobile using his free minutes, and do I get charged the usual 50p a minute to receive the call? Can someone explain it in words of 1 syllable please?0 -

You would have to have a Uganda phone number for him to phone you using the Rebtel service.
If your roaming in Uganda using a UK Mobile the first leg of the call would come out of his inclusive x-net minutes, and you would pay for second leg of call as usual.0 -
Hi everyone. Clueless / gun-shy query coming up - can anyone advise me which of the free-minute-using tactics work with 3 Mobile? I'm particularly interested in calling the US. Thanks and regards. D.0

This one is for martin
If the operators have changed the policy shouldn't we have the option of can celling the contract? Maybe we should complain to Ofcom!0 -
I have an orange contract and used the 07 number for making free call to the US,
Without any notice they started charging for these calls resulting in an unexpected cost of £50! when my bil came a few days ago.
i took out the contract in Feb, and had no idea they were going to start charging for these calls.
I intend to call them today to complain and ask for my money back, or otherwise mmay ask them to cancel my contract.
Will keep you updated on my progress0 -
Called them yesterday, and the dude in the call centre said they would be reimbursing all call charges to the 077 numbers that were charged for the month of June.
Its a pity that we can't go on making these calls, but at least we wont be charged for June without them telling us.0 -
Hi,
I called my sister who is in Australia with the number from the website but no number appeared on my sisters phone when I called her so she wasn't able to call me back as instructed on the website. The operator said I had 10 minutes of free calls and after this I had to sign up to them via their website. So a bit confused.
Has this method worked for anyone else.
Thanks.`:j0 -

davor999 thanks for the posting. i had the same problem, who did you speak to at orange and what did you say exactly to get june's charges refunded. i desperate need some back from them - bill is more that £145!!! anyone else been able to get the charges refunded?
thanks in advance0 -
Hi I have tried using Rebtel, but everytime I phone the number I am given I get a message saying I must verify my number with them and they will phone me straight back, they never phone back, and they never reply to my e-mails either, so I simply can not use them for my free minutes, or even credit my account with money to pay for using them either - a complete waste of time !!0
