I miss the Captain terribly. But a lot of this rushing round is to get him home again, so it is worth it in the long run. He emails me at least twice a week with pictures of him and Noah. Normally they are pictures of him eating :rotfl: My friend has laminated two pictures of me and they are tacked to the gate of his field so he can kiss me as often as he likes!

The laminated pictures is a lovely touch! Brilliant

You sound wildly busy but so focussed on your goal..its a joy to see Piq..well done you!:D

    Still here :hello:

Just running round like the proverbial headless bird that I seem to metamorphosed into :(

I don't seem to making any inroads to the packing. I tried to chivvy the solicitor along to discover they're on holiday. Thanks for letting me know chaps.... So, no moving date yet, means I still have to work flat out to meet the mortgage payments :(

I've been offered more overtime, regular Sunday evenings to be precise, but this means I won't have any days off at all and I'm not sure how long I'd stay sane if I work seven days a week....

Packed off more stuff through eb@y, must photo up more stuff and get it up there on Sunday. Although quite when is another matter :rotfl:The buyers are coming to see the house on Sunday, I'm hoping that they want to buy the curtains, will save having to take them down to sell.

Glad to hear that everything is progressing. I'm sure it seems more progressive to us than it probably does to you.

I think that most sensible people would want to buy the curtains - it saves them the angst of having to sort something out for themselves and they can have a ready made homely feel - even if they choose to change them later. Maybe Colin will shin up them to show them off to their best advantage!!

Hope your cold / cough is subsiding.
  • Piq would a Sunday evening slot at t'club earn you more than a Monday day slot with hellcow? Just a thought.............

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I've now got visions of a puddy tat swinging too and fro on a set of curtains with the theme they used to play on 'Sale of the Century' * when the 'glam girls' used to drape themselves across the speedboat or set of golfing clubs that were the 'star prize' :rotfl::rotfl:

No . . . sadly not. Did I see somewhere today that NP has just celebrated his 90th birthday? . . . . not that I'm as old as that . . .
