If it was that easy CD would probably have been bitten by now! _pale_
No, the wretched thing is inside the structure of the chair - I'd have to take a stanley knife to the fabric, or let CD rip with claws, and even then centipedes move so quickly I'd be unlikely to manage to swap tools fast enough to suck it into MrDys0n...
Ee Gods, and then how would I get it out of the dust chamber? A beastie which stands a good chance of surviving nuclear fallout is only going to be slightly inconvenienced - and doubtless rather annoyed - by a trip through a hoover!
Reckon there's less chance of violence if a couple of strong visitors [wearing stout shoes and socks] remove the chair - yours truly standing by with the hammer in case Beastie drops out. Hopefully it won't, and once the chair is in the garden the centipede can return to it's natural environment at it's leisure.
Win-win.

My darling tabby used to eat all the mouse except for the tail and liver - not easy to see on an axminster landing carpet first thing in the morning - I can't tell you the number of times I managed to get a cold wet liver wedged between my little toe and the next one...uuuueeeww!0

The moral of this story is: never come downstairs in the morning without wearing your slippers!!0

Ay up Piq
Whilst I realise you are up to your armpits in 'moving' and possibly still trying to shift your cold/flu/lurgy thing, I just wanted to pop in and wish you a pleasant Sunday away from the w**k place.
Don't know if you'll be able to spend time having brekkie with your dad, or a cuddle with the Captain. But I do hope you manage to have some 'down' time and make some 'Piq' time. You need it and you deserve it.
Kind regards,

My cat had tried to drag a badger in the house, failed, rigor mortis had set in and my parents were faced with an immovable badger and a pair of trapped cats when they called to feed them.
Anyway, sorry for cat chat.
Oh God that made me guffaw!
