Love the thought of Captain and Noah wandering up to chat to your photo.

Hope you get some rest soon as you sound pretty exhausted

Also hope hellcow is in a good mood and makes the day go smoothly

It's really cute isn't it? Mind you, I think the Captain just blows his nose over my photo rather than admiring it or smothering it with horsey kisses :rotfl::rotfl:

Oh Piq, you have just shattered the illusion I had of the Captain, ambling up to the gate and giving "you" loving and gentle horsey slobbers:rotfl:

Back after a couple of weeks absence and pleased to find that things still moving in the right direction for you:T. I hope that it will not be too long before you can move, cut back your hours and do things that you enjoy, and of course, get the Captain and Noah? moved near to you.

Need a hard kick up the rear to get myself outside, bad weather while we were away has meant that a lot of what should be tall vertical plants and now long and horizontal:eek:

I hope the *baying is still productive, for the posh nights I wore a lovely Blue dress and fab pearl necklace that I bought on e-, (different occasions);););)

I miss the Captain terribly. But a lot of this rushing round is to get him home again, so it is worth it in the long run. He emails me at least twice a week with pictures of him and Noah. Normally they are pictures of him eating My friend has laminated two pictures of me and they are tacked to the gate of his field so he can kiss me as often as he likes!

Impressed with Captain's ability to send emails, :rotfl: and the image of him blowing snotty kisses** on your 'photo is absolutely priceless! :D

**Well kisses from horses always are, aren't they? :p

:eek: to the six inch centipede. Not sure how I'd cope with that. Once had a mouse take refuge in the sofa, years ago. Had to remove it to the garden for the mouse to escape. But a centipede that big ...

Gawd, am glad our intruder chose an armchair rather than the sofa - I'd have been waiting a long time for enough muscle to visit at the same time in order to shift that bit of furniture, lol!
..Armchair has now been [safely] re-sited in the middle of the lawn; thank goodness. :)

Reading the last few days' worth of posts gave me some good therapeutic laughter, (plus a couple of ooo-er moments- yerk to centipedes, Robin!).
Mice from the heavens, their livers underfoot and the badger tale .... :rotfl:
I can just picture the faces of any workmen who had to remove a door with a dead badger wedged in the cat flap.
They are probably still telling that one now! Thank you!

I loved the laminated pics on the gate and the emailing Captain, Piq. Blessings on your thoughtful friend :A - and on you. Hope the day has gone OK.
Also thinking of your Dad, I hope his worries ease.

Eb*ying still productive, if not repetitive and boring.

Yes, Noah will be coming too. He will stay with the Captain, they love each other very much and it would cause them unnecessary pain to be separated.

The Captain has his own email address so I always know there is a picture of him attached. There was a very nice one of Noah and him trying to out-stare a chicken who had ventured in their field last week.

How very nice, the armchair of solitude :rotfl:
