Good start to the day £7.58 has landed in my paypal account from Return to Earn :T I've also got the missing cheque for £18.73 from Zapper to pay in to the bank, they sent a new cheque on receipt of my query email, pretty good customer care :T

So many autumn leaves all over the patio this morning, it's well and truly arrived, the weather is wet and dank too :(

I'd better be off and get ready for the coffee morning shift, can't say I'm looking forward to it, my body definitely would like a second day off and some rest. Perhaps this week I'll have some news on a moving date....

I'm having a moment.....wondering if there is anything to my life except working and moving house :(

It's cold and wet and I'm already tucked up under the throw and it's switched on, lovely and toasty. I'm telling myself it's to stop my legs aching from a day of standing. I have no idea what Colin's excuse is :rotfl:

The big news: I have signed a contract  Had to contact the solicitor as they had put the wrong sale amount in  They're being paid a lot of money to do things right...... It was waiting for me when I got home yesterday evening. I suppose this means I will get a date to move fairly soon now.

When I went to bed I was very tired and fell asleep really quickly only to shoot awake after ten minutes in an overwhelming state of panic. Horrible, horrible feeling. It took ages to get back to sleep again, then I kept waking up every hour or so.

I've sent off a list of suggested buying prices to the buyer of the stuff they are interested in, if they take it I will have very little to get rid of furniture wise before moving. It will also net me enough to buy a new washing machine and mattress :T I am selling the old washing machine with the house, but I hate it, takes forever to complete a load and is very loud, doesn't matter too much here as it's sited in the utility room. The new one will be in the kitchen at the new place so needs to be quieter and more efficient.

I expect Colin's little legs might ache too, all that weight to carry about?! Excellent news on the contract, that's a great step to have taken. You WILL get your life back, it will all be worth it, just hang on in there Piq!
That waking up suddenly anxious is horrible, I know it only too well, ironic that it's so hard to get a good night's sleep when you're really exhausted .... I once dreamt I was riding in the Grand National when I was working on doing up a cottage - woke up all sweaty with my heart really pounding!!
Fingers crossed your buyers buy all on the list. It does sound as if you are very organised (tho' it may not feel like it from your side). Enjoy the snuggly throw and have a relaxing evening.

Nods knowingly about the sleeping / waking thing.

Colin is there . . . because you are! Mutual comfort and all that.

Good news on the contract. Not so good that they can't get their facts right.

You are getting there - just keep in sight how much better most things will be.

I arranged a transit van for Sunday so that we can deliver the spare double bed to DS2 plus other random bedroom furniture as well as take some larger stuff to the dump.

So I texted DS3 to let him know that he would be picking up a tranny on Sunday. Thankyou autocorrect for deciding the family didn't need a transit so much as a tranny.... I think DS3 is still rolling around the floor in hysterics!
