One busy day, yet again. A lot achieved though, so I can sit back this evening without guilt.
But first I must tell on DS2 and 3......
For the last two nights my next door neighbour has been away, I didn't know she was going and I do hope she's back soon...And as mother left the teenagers threw a party:eek::mad::eek::mad: The noise was unbelievable, all night, both nights  No sleep for any of us living in the vicinity. I was telling the boys about this when they turned up at 7:30am, just an hour and half after the teenagers had finally gone to bed.....You have no idea how noisy two men can be clearing a loft that joins onto next doorA lot of calling out to each other, singing competitions complete with banging on the loft floor and jumping down the stairs. Funnily enough a lot of very pale bleary-eyed teenagers vacated next door during the first hour of my boys helping their mum
So today's cleared tasks are as follows:
Loft cleared
Old bed and chest of drawers dismantled and taken to tip
Double bed, chest of drawers, mirror, lamps and bedding delivered to DS2's house
Garage cleared
Packed boxes moved from study to cleared garage
All baking equipment and all but one saucepan packed away
Desk cleared of all but essential files
Summer clothes packed away in vacuum bags
I will be working evenings from Tuesday, during the day I must eb@y a minimum of three items daily and clear at least two pots in the garden. I also must buy some more dustbins sacks and bubblewrap.
T@lkT@lk have sent a cheque for my £40 that they owed me in less than the 28 days they had insisted they needed. MusicM@gpie have sent a cheque for £24 for DVDs. Must find time to pay them into the bank. I must also book Colin in for his annual boosters, lest I forget in all the move stuff.
I've done a fair bit of research on washing machines, my life is so very exciting, and think I have found a good one, now all I need to do is find the best price for it. The same goes for the new mattress.
There's probably loads more, but it's slipped my mind for the moment, so will probably add chapters of drivel on during the eveningTotal debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Good for DSs! At least it saved you feeling guilty for making a noise while clearing the loft in different circumstances! I wonder if they will mention anything to the parents.
You are doing so well with everything. Admiration.0 -
In recent weeks I have been clearing out my dads house(since he died).Did'nt think he had that much stuff as like me he wasn't a hoarder, but by heck there was tons of stuff and as I like to recycle it took me quite some time to clear the house. So now when I hear somebody is clearing a house ,I always think "good luck", its hard work.
Well done to your DS's, hope the neighbours got the hint.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000 -
