Belated birthday greetings, was my OH's birthday yesterday too. Weather was so flippin wet all day, we just went out for a pub lunch (pensioners on a Monday so very :money:), a trip to the coast (mid or north Wales) was muted, but will have to reschedule that for a dry day.

You are doing so well with all your packing, hopefully you will be moving soon. Good idea a) speaking to neighbour and b) boarding Colin out with your Mum for the day.

It is tipping it down again today, garden needs so much work and I DO NOT want to do housework!!! might resort to waterproofs on and doing some lawn spiking and dead heading. It is OH's cycling day and I don't think I want to be indoors with him all day, he is bound to be a little grumpy:eek:

Oh twins! I can't believe I forgot it was my birthday, shows how wrapped up in this flippin' move I am. Afraid I've given up on the gardening for today, it is hammering it down. Plenty to do indoors!:D

I've listed the cabinet, it will be interesting to see if there is any interest. I might have listed it at too high a price, £25 but it is Laura Ashley so very well made, even if it does need repainting. Also listed some very old Dungeon and Dragon type games that were at the back of a cupboard, not sure if they will raise any interest. If not, as they are incomplete they will hit the bin. Altogether four items listed :T Oh, just checked, the chaos warrior has a watcher!

I've also packed away my favourite red china cafetiere :( and my gorgeous black tea, coffee and sugar containers :( Now the kitchen is very spartan and doesn't show any personality. I've just a packet of tea, coffee and sugar out - looks tatty!

Lucky me, I've been sent the shopping list for the kitchen at work, at least I'll get the Tesco points on my account, but it does mean I'll have to leave early for work. Bummer.

Okay, let's find something else to pack...

That's a lovely name. It was my grandma's name, Isabella and she was the kindest sweetest woman you could have met. I hope your daughter inherits those qualities too.

Do I keep my fingers crossed for a proposal? Is that what you want? In which case we will have a wedding on here instead :T

  • Happy belated birthday :D

Just catching up after my short hiatus ;) When do you move? I thought it was this month but maybe have that wrong (sorry haven't read all the pages as there were so many :o so you've probably said!)

Lovely name BTW Kerri :D Our little girl was going to be an Isabella but she was late and my friend had her girl early and used that name :p so I used my second choice which actually suits her better now :)
