A very happy belated birthday, dearest Piq, the last one you will ever celebrate as a dfw. Think, this time next year you'll be df, what a wonderful thought and will be able to spend the day spoiling yourself.

I'm so glad you had a good day and love the Captain's gifts.

Lovely name for the baby Kerri, will be good to have a wedding and baby to enjoy.

Happy belated birthday Piq, loving the presents from the Captain.

What beautiful and unusual names, Kerri, BTW.

  • Happy Birthday Piq. I'd like to forget my birthdays in future but I'm very glad people remembered yours!

Birthday Greetings for yesterday. I'm glad you were treated to dinner and had the odd glass of prosecco! And do treat yourself to the haircut. (I always feel 10 years younger after I go but I do tend to leave rather a long time between visits).

Hello Verbatim, I've missed you! Where have you been hiding?

I have booked a haircut for this morning, that must be why we have torrential rain, just hope the umbrella hasn't been packed

Many Happy Returns for yesterday. :)

Here y'go, Piq, it's never too late for cake: ;)

    :bdaycake:

Looking at my waistline, it has never been too late for cake  Oh dear me, a stress eater here :o However, I can't cope with dieting right now, it will have to wait until after the move. Dieting, now there's something to look forward to.....

Belated birthday wishes Piq - glad you were treated and had a bit of a break - you so deserve one. Loving The Captain's pressies; suitably self centred :rotfl:. Hopefully it won't be too long until you can spend more time together and see him every day again.

Best of luck with the Ebay items, you are doing so well with them. Hang on in there :)

The Captain has always been very self-centred, anyone would think he was the centre of the universe :rotfl:Even I find somewhere for him straight away I won't bring him home until the Spring. He has access to all the facilities necessary for an old horse in a cold winter where he is now. It will be better for him there in the short term. Once the weather warms up he can come home. I will have had enough time to sort out cosy stabling as well as a large enough field for two by then.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes, much appreciated, even if I did forget my own birthday :rotfl:

As mentioned I'm off to get my hair cut, it's far too long and unruly and it is my treat to myself.

My Chaos warrior has a bid already, 99p no less :jA couple of the other games also have bids. I will list the one remaining game later today, before I go to work. The cabinet has nine watchers, not bad considering it is buyer collects and humps down the stairs....

Work was boring, only a sprinkling of customers must have been the bad weather. Only another four evening shifts to go until my day off :T

Right, this is getting nothing done, off to shower, then to the hairdressers we go....
