Keep going Piq - tiredness does take a toll, and it also skews perspective. We can all see how far you have come in such a very short time. Plus, it is not lack of effort on your part that is making things jerky and frustrating. It is all things and people's actions that are entirely out of your control...... which, if you are anything like me is even more b****y tiring and b****y frustrating. And that's the cleaned up pre-watershed version
Never mind what folk on the bus think. You paid for your ticket so what you carry on as hand luggage is no matter......
Glad to hear that colin is still dictating proceedings and putting his own stamp on things :rotfl:
We're all in your corner, keep strong :T:T

You got boxes and bubblewrap back on public transport, that's a hefty bit of recycling using environmentally friendly transport methods. That's cool.
Stuff any objectors, it's only a temporary state of affairs. I'd do it again with pride.
Lots of lovely finances raising de-cluttering completed already, it can all take a break for just a little while. Nothing bad will happen but you'll feel a lot more rested.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Good morning
Sorry to hear you are tired and stressed, sounds like you are putting so much pressure on yourself and what with the buyers playing you around its no wonder.
Take some time out, even if just for a day, pull up a comfy blanket (if colin will let you borrow it) a comfy chair and sit and relax for the day, it wont hurt and hopefully will be able to rest.

Absolutely! Just reading your diary and all you are achieving makes me feels tired. SPEND A DAY DOING NOTHING, PLEASE ... you will feel so much better for it.0 -
Hear hear! Take at least an hour to relax and unwind. It'll give you chance to replenish your energy levels so you don't get run down. You might feel it's a wasted hour, but better than getting poorly and losing days."Does it spark joy?" - Marie Kondo

I'm knackered by everything you're doing and it's not surprising that it's starting to affect you.
I've been told by a lovely psychology friend of mine to try the following as I've been struggling to sleep lately too:If you cant sleep, try this: Close your eyes and then start to work through the alphabet thinking of, say, two band names beginning with A then B and so on. It stops your mind thinking of important /worrying stuff which keeps you awake. When you wake up the next morning you will probably remember only having got as far as d or e before you fell asleep. The most stressed person I know who tried this got as far as G on the first night. You can do the same for people you know, places you have been fruit etc etc! Makes trying to sleep a bit less stressful!
Unfortunately I'm more stressed than the person she knows and got to V/W the first night then S/T the next night but it did work eventually :rotfl:

I do that!!! Obviously very stressed as I sometimes have been known to go through the alphabet several times! Girl's names; boy's names; films; music and so on . . .
Hope you're feeling more settled today Piquant.0 -
I just don't have any time to take for me at the moment. Six days a week working and trying to clear down a house ready for packing up, it just doesn't lend itself to taking it easy
Yesterday evening I was so tired I could hardly keep my eyes open, yet when I went to bed....wide awake  I probably got about four hours sleep in dribs and drabs. I'm going to try Alioops' suggestion tonight, I'll do it with flower names. I've got a sleep app on my phone, I like the sound of rain one, it didn't work last night but maybe tonight combined with alphabetical flower names...
Got home to discover another two eb@y sales, so ran across to the post office to get them posted off. Another one is being couriered off tomorrow. I started a couple of throws off at 99p and they have made me £40.
I've been keeping a spreadsheet of the eb@y sales. A lot of money is taken by both eb@y and p@ypal. A good 10% Shocking really..
Talking of shocking. As I was rushing across to the post office I noticed three women with four very young children sitting in the swing area passing round a wine bottle and drinking from it :eek: I know it's none of my business but I was absolutely shocked to the core. The children who were no more than three years old were just being sent away to the swings, dangerous things swings, whilst the women swigged away at the bottle and smoked their cigarettes. It seemed so wrong on so many levels. Maybe I'm not as broadminded as I thought I was.:oTotal debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
