When I went to nearby car park to leave all the unwanted cardboard at the re-cycling bins, I noticed that someone had stacked their folded large cartons in between the bins, rather than push them in, I assume this was deliberate for other people to take (as they were very tidy), if you are out in your car, it might be worth a regular drive by if you have any of these facilities near you.
I hope that you have had a good day today.:D
Good idea, I've noticed that too. I'll make a trip at the weekend and see if there are any.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Forgot to mention spends yesterday. £15, yes, £15 on getting my boots reheeled and resoled  Well worth it, lovely comfortable boots, still looking good and I live in them most the winter.
Indigestion tablets, I'm getting heartburn in the evenings. I think it's stress from the move.
Food for Colin, on special offer and as he eats a lot I bought a triple dose, thus saving £7 :TTotal debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Fantastic news on the *bay sales and yay to boots being repaired, yes the heartburn is probably stress related, it's grim isn't it.
I do hope that colin is not reading your diary, he would be most put out at finding his food shopping at the bottom of your list:rotfl:The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -

In the words of Victor Meldrew 'I don't believe it" Buyer 1 has come back with another offer of full price and £1500 cash  On talking to the estate agent though they have had an offer on their house, but nobody knows if their buyer has a definite mortgage. This being the reason the sale fell through in the first place. I'm sticking with Buyer 2 as firstly, I gave my word, and secondly, there is no chain involved. It's all so stressful
I haven't heard anything further from anyone, so assume it's all going through okay
Yesterday I did a double shift, very tiring. Must have been more tiring than I thought as I was woken by a paw planted firmly on my nose at 8:45 this morning :rotfl:As soon as the paw owner got my attention he turned round and placed his bottom in my face, not a good view. So here I am, coffee in hand reading diaries. Obviously not the first thing I've done today.....I felt a pressing need to feed Colin first....
If I can get myself going I must do some more clearing and post another eb@y parcel, not to mention listing quite a lot more on there. It's a free listing weekend so I can get a few of the more expensive items up there. Not everything is 99p
Then this evening's shift is the last one of the week, next week is back to the day shift :TTotal debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Piquant I haven't read your diary for ages, last I read you were starting to paint pots and I hadn't noticed you started a new diary.
It is so lovely to read about your good news
Really really good to know you will be debtfree and enjoying life with your kids and your animals.
So good to read and so deserved.
Good luck with the move

Woohoo Buffy
Good to see you. I think I'll be an exhausted heap by the time I reach debtfreeness. It's a tiring business getting ready to move!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Quick break for lunch, cheese on toast
Six items listed. If they sell I could make about £200, but only if. I ought to do some more, but the other end of the eb@ying is the packing up and taking to the PO or arranging a courier. Takes up so much time!
I have at least another six items that should be listed tomorrow to take advantage of the free listing weekend. Obviously a job for tomorrow.
I've cancelled all my outstanding sales on Am@zon, clearly not selling. I'll do a review and list the suitable ones on eb@y during the week at 99p. Quite a few comic/graphic books in there that should sell.
Another two bags of books ready to take to Oxf@m tomorrow morning, building my biceps at the same time, a long walk from the carpark :rotfl:
