  • right i thought i should update this with my weight as apposed to rambling. I didnt stick to my diet the week before last due to my test so it was no supprise that i put on a few lbs :( however this last week they have come back off :T so i am still sat at 16lbs loss... 17st to 15st 12lb in just over 8 weeks :D perfect if you ask me... i am guessing we have around 4/5 weeks left (taking us up to sunday 9th/sep... so i will need to lose 2lb a week... i feel this doable

btw for anyone who wants a treat ~ although they are expensive... skinny cow icecreams and snackajacks salted popcorn are my fave this last week :)

blimey, I was the last to post yesterday morning and the first this morning.

    Helllloooooooooo............bit of an echo!!!!!

I was a bit naughty yesterday and opened a bottle of rose. And I drank about 3/4 of the bottle last night at the DFW party (where were you all)

Make more sense now then Spud?
    Its confusing isent it?

Erm, I'm sober this morning but still confused beanie :rotfl:

I popped round to see a friend yesterday, and was moaning about the lack of success at this dieting mullarkey.

She suggested I try Slimming World, but I cant do the public flogging stuff at the meetings :o

Anyhoo, she has lent me her SW books, so I'm reading them at the mo. It sounds really easy but I'm thinking I'm more of a green person than a red :D

Any SW advice would be very much appreciated

Hello peeps! Haven't been around for the last few days...diet up in the air! Managed a 1 1/2lb loss this week, total loss now 7 3/4lbs!..So that's all good! Been doing my running and completed my first race today...was a 10K round the race track at Castle Coombe in Wiltshire...absolutely loved it! Ran it in 1 hr 6 mins and was lapped by a guy pushing his kiddie in a pushchair! Fair play to him! Really spurred me on running wise but am shattered out now and been eating silly things as my appetite is all over the shop! Back to it tomorrow though! And here's hoping todays funny foodies won't have too much effect as hoping the run will compensate! Luv to all, the kebabmesiter xxx

I'm a green person through and through. I lost nearly 5 stone with SW about 3 years ago. Life got in the way though and it's all gone back on.

Mix red and green days for a good result, unless you are a vegetarian.

I should re-try SW. It does work for me.

Proud but shattered! They were some hard core runners...whereas I have only been running for 4 weeks! Was lapped before I had even finished the first lap and then lapped by the guy with the buggy! Had a great time though! Good preparation for my half marathon...I am happy that I have found a sport I really enjoy and hopefully I will speed up as the weeks / months progress!

Wow, what an amazing weight loss Keren.

I'm not a vegetarian, but our budget definitely leans more to filling up on rice and pasta than lean meat

My friend said her fella just lost over 3 stone on it.

The problem I'm having is with my hubby. We are currently on holiday from work. I'm off for 5 weeks, he's off for 2. I see this as the ideal time to start the new lifestyle, and go back to work totally in control amd knowing what I'm doing.

He is the opposite. He sees our holidays as a time when we should be having a good time, not worrying about what we eat or drink.

    Men

I love SW, I'm following it at the moment, so feel free to ask away. So far I've lost just over 4 stone. Been struggling for the last few months, but life does get in the way sometimes.

I prefer Green days, but will throw in some red ones every now and then as it helps the weight loss.

    Good luck
