I just told my eldest daddy isn't himself atm, what else do I tell I'm he's only 6?

Sorry to say this but if you bought a house together (which I think you said in your first post?), you have no right to change the locks without giving him a key because he has an equal right to access the house.
If you want to prevent him coming into the house you will need to seek a court order.0 -

They are renting.
OP - is the rental contract in your name, his name or joint names?If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
The council have allowed me to change the lock due to the circumstances.
It is in joint names but will be taking his name off the tenancy.

What's the midlife crisis? Both of you are in your twenties, so hardly midlife. The only crisis your ex is having is one of his own making because he's on drugs..................
