How to find a 'dead' ipod...

Could it be inside something else like a book or a magazine?

Could it have been kicked under a piece of heavy furniture by mistake, like a wardrobe or chest of drawers? I thought these devices could have a last alert app set on them, so that you are notified when the battery is running low and can locate it if it gets mislaid. Hope you manage to find it soon.

Search from right to left- we're so used to reading left to right that going the other way means we spot things more easily, or so the theory goes.

Failing that a prayer to St Anthony? "St Anthony, return that which is mine."

I take it there's nothing like "find my iPhone" for iPods?
Edit: I've just seen it's in your house- I doubt that app would be that accurate!

Sounds crazy but have u checked the fridge/freezer? It's amazing how easy it is to go in for milk/peas etc and put something down there.

Can they. I know when it gets to 10% battery it comes on the screen and you can press dismiss, we reckon we've missed that window by now, I know you can whistle for your keys that gadget is always a top seller for Xmas but an app to find your iPod.?

Do you know what it's called, which one, now it's dead would it be too late.?

It's not crazy cause I had done it:D thought of 'what if he went to get something from fridge, had it in hand...' But thank you:D

Any siblings who may not be wishing to own up to borrowing it?

(My nephews turned up 3 months later, about a week after his mum finally gave up looking and bought him a new one. Down the back of the settee where they'd already looked many times over. It'll be the poltergeist what done it.)
