I downloaded PC pro cleaner to try to clean up my desktop PC.
However, it wasn't doing what I thought it should, so I uninstalled it this morning.
Logged on again this evening and now can't access anything on the internet apart from the Google homepage via Mozilla Firefox. When I type something into Google it comes up with the relevant information page....but then when I click on a link it comes up with an unable to connect message.
I have tried to do a system restore, but all restore points have been deleted !! The recycle bin has also been emptied.
I also can't seem to start it in safe mode !
Please help...it is driving me crazy !

Looks like you've deleted more than you should. Its known to be alittle overzelous in removals. But on apps like this emptying the bin and restore points can be their default setting.
Unless you performed a backup in the app first you are out of luck.
Reinstall windows and don't clean your registry in the future- its really not necessary with todays OS's.0 -

This is why these clean-up and tune-up software packages should never be used they can do more harm than good. They do their fake tests clean up some stuff you can do in windows without them and then do another test and report that something is now 438% faster.0
