There is plenty wrong with the PC....or else I wouldn't be asking for help.

I posted what the operating system was...and you just asked if a hijack log had been done and had malware bytes been run !!
If I can't get help...then I'd rather buy a PC that works, and save everyone the hassle !!

Let's see....you have two of the very best people helping you on this thread and you are being rude and unpleasant to them.

There is only one question in the post that I have mentioned and you have not replied to it. Nothing cryptic about it.

As to the details to which closed is referring....perhaps what happened when you attempted the Factory Restore would be a start.
You are getting frustrated with yourself and taking it out of the people who can help you.

It was you after all that expressed horror when I had said that I was going to buy a new system...wasn't it ?
If you were....for instance asking how to bake a cake...I would go through the process step by step with you. The result would be perfect.
Is that too hard for you to do in this case ?

I'm helping. closed and I have helped hundreds, if not thousands of people on this board, so it's strange that we can't help you. The biggest problem is not with the computer. Take a look at post #12 and answer the question posed. It's not difficult.

Destructive Recovery instructions are here. But don't attempt them until you have retrieve you important data, as you will lose it all.

You are getting so frustrated that you are missing the very obvious question mark in the post.

In addition to that, you told us in post #8 that your machine was a Hewlett Packard.

So now we know why the Hewlett Packard Factory Restore instructions did not work. It is a completely different company.

I have tried to do a factory restore following instructions on the internet for Packard Bell. I obviously didn't follow the instructions for Hewlett Packard.
And if by chance you are referring to the question about whether I have access to another machine with a CD burner...I think you will find I answered that !!
