Lying in bed reading and hoping to fall asleep. On a whim I have done a google search for a local second hand bookshop......and there is one......and they buy books! Know what I'm doing this weekend!

Welcome Tuesday to the world! A day filled with bank recs and a 2 year historic financial analysis for moi......which may see my brain boggled and my eyes crossed by the time 5pm rolls round! A head for numbers has been a blessing in this journey and also a curse. A blessing because it obviously helps to be able to thoroughly analyse the situation but a curse because you are constantly finding new and 'interesting' ways of looking at it! :) Keeps me out of trouble I suppose!

So today should be a NSD. I have completed a survey this morning so added 50p to my balance. Will try to complete more this evening when I get home. Hoping for some roadkill today to put in my sealed jar and let's hope for some more EBay bids. Going to charge my phone at work today rather than here at home. Is that naughty?! Already a bit proud of myself. 2 lightbulbs are out of our 5 light fixture in the front room and I am refusing to replace them on the theory that it's less electricity to pay and the room has plenty of light with 3!

So the goal for the day is to make it a NSD and find some roadkill in the process.......and we're off!

I do this as often as i can, if my phone has more than 40% battery when i go to bed i just wait until the next morning and plug it in at work :D Have it charging most of the day and try to make sure it's at 100% before i leave. Obviously sometimes i forget..... I have also been known to charge my iPad, kindle, tomtom, portable charger, iPod...... you get the picture haha.

Sounds like you've got a great day planned.

Nothing cheeky about charging at work, I do it all the time. Also do any printing I need to do in my lunchbreak!! That probably is a bit naughty, but it's not a lot.

Great news on eBay sales, I've got a bid on one of mine too! Only 99p but it's a start!

You're Asda chicken sounds like a bargain! I'm a veggie though so might be a bit of a wasteful saving (is that a real phrase!!). I'll ask hubster though if he might fancy it for next month.

Goof luck on the NSD and fingers crossed for loads of roadkill!!

Oooohhh, TTGU they are so darn good if you shallow fry them and them slice them up while hot in a wrap with your preference of extras. Who needs McDonalds?! Bleugh! Hope you LOVE them - such a bargain. Also good with chips, mushroom rice, pasta, mash & gravy......currently amazing myself with how low we can keep our grocery bill!

Crimson! You're the devil! :D I may have to copy you now that you've given me permission.....! Lol!

Hello wegle! The day is not quite going to plan......the NSD hasn't happened as I remembered I had to buy milk and more wraps but I did get a better bargain on the wraps from Tescos rather than Asda - score! No roadkill as yet but it's only lunchtime. Congrats on the EBay bid - Universe, we need a whole lot more if you don't mind pleeeeease!

Bank rec is down to £43.14 in several million pounds of transactions which isn't bad going. Now if I can just find the problem.....one of my staff has predicted I will find it as soon as I walk back in the door from lunch. I am humbled by her faith and eternal optimism! However, seeing as I have never had a bank rec that I couldn't balance to the penny, she is right in that I will find it.....just the time scale may be a little off! The 2 year analysis can wait a while!

Ditto all of the above... everything...EXACTLY...even down to the 40% the night before (except I let it go to 35%).

Only thing that has not been charged is my macbook...:money:

I am also a fan of roadkill and have no shame in picking it up, my brother who used to mock me will now pick up silver roadkill only :)

I am finding less and less these days though, where is it hiding?!?!
