Hiya brizzle! You are right - I will definitely have to do that because I was really giving myself some stress earlier in the day!

Well, I am a very very happy bunny as I have just paid a chunk more off my debts, taken my car loan down under $11k, and cleared my sons birthday present from my cc, plus my anticipated interest for this month, and a little more! This is almost another 2% off my debts with more to come later this month! YES! Now, if the buyer of my necklace pays the company in full this month rather than next........

I will definitely be under $18k by the end of the month and under $15k by the end of December!!!

Thanks wegle! I am really happy with how the debt busting is going and am fairly sure I can blow that £60 out of the water - I'm darn well going to give it my best shot!!! That's all money I don have to find in my budget.....which seems to get tighter all the time!

Have had a long day but am happy to be on the train with 45p of roadkill in my pocket! :). The weekend is here and I couldn't be happier! A friend of mine has free tickets to a home building show this weekend so hubby and I are going along for some ideas. Really looking forward to it and the fact that it is free is a bonus. Then tomorrow night is the fireworks here which are also free! Cool! We went last year and it was lovely. Should be a brilliant weekend. :)

Spending tonight on a wombled receipt hunt.....here's hoping we get the month off to a flying start!

Hiya C-R! I've been a little MIA over here, haven't I?! Sorry! So busy trying to keep up with my roadkill challenge thread and searching for pennies that I lost track with my diary!

I have had a nice but busy weekend. Hubby and I have been frequent visitors to the local A$da which is within walking distance of home thankfully, but this weekend is proof that you just can't guarantee a bounty of vouchers - we came home with over 12 receipts on Saturday but it didn't net us a huge windfall......and then today I found one of their receipts close to our home (nowhere near the shop) and it brought in £2.05. So, you really can't tell - you just have to snag as many as you can and see how it pans out for you.

It has also been quiet on the roadkill front but I have made a pact with myself to not go a day all of November without finding at least a penny. I think this is entirely possible although it will take some determination on some days. Today for example, was roadkill-less at 7pm so I dragged hubby out for a walk, purely to search for coins and I came home with 2 pennies (plus I had a lovely walk on a clear autumn night with hubby while we talked about our future plans to be property millionaires!! :D). Here's hoping for some larger finds this month also.

This week is set to be fun with 3 of the 6 birthdays of the month, including hubby's on Friday. My best friend is having a black tie party for her 40th on Saturday so that should be fun too. Just realised that that day will be a tough roadkill day, likely as not......well, I'll just have to really keep my eyes peeled!

Hoping everyone has had a productive weekend and made themselves some pennies. Lots of love and luck to all my fellow DFWs.

Bundle up good, Alex! Hubby and I have discovered the joy of fleece blankets and hot water bottles! The heating will be off for the foreseeable future!

Thanks, brizzle. I think you have to think like this to be successful in the shortest possible time frame. Good for you with EBay. It is amazing what sells on there. I found a new, sealed eyeliner in the car park of A$da a couple of weeks ago and just sold it yesterday!! Best of luck to you! :)

Well, it's a rather cold morning in NY but I am still tucked up on the sofa with a blanket and a cup of tea. Another half hour and it will be another story!

So, what's my debt busting plan of action today? Check my bank accounts, scour for roadkill, and snag some trolly lolly on the way home! :D Have to admit, I woke up this morning about 6am with the acute awareness I was on a collision course with 6.30am and my alarm clock.....I was less than pleased! Struggled to drag myself out of bed and am still struggling to get off the sofa, get dressed and head to the station......if only I could get someone to pay me without actually working! :D

So I will wish you all a happy Monday (even though I am not convinced that there is such a thing at this moment!) and hope some extra pennies flutter your way to bust your debt even faster! Lots of love and luck to all my fellow DFWs!
