How many times would you wear a pair of trousers....

Jeans can be worn until they stand up with nobody in them.
Its all a 'depends' apart from that though. What's the weather like, what've I been doing, what layers have I got on, where have I been etc etc. Play it by ear.
The only things that always get washed after one wear are knickers and my work uniforms.0 -
I wear jeans/trousers until they're dirty. It saves the fabric of them, water (I'm on a meter) and electricity. I have some jeans for walking the mutt which are usually muddy, but I always change out of them after walkies. I don't see the point of washing them every time they get muddy (esp in winter) as they'll only get dirty again the next day and I'm just going to the forest.
Bedding after 7 sleeps, towels after 3 showers, undies/socks/teatowels/t-shirts after each day or use. Jumpers/hoodies etc get washed as and when I think they need it. Work clothes (uniform) gets washed after every trip.0 -

If you've been sat down all day in a cool air conditioned office? If you've only worn it for a few hours in the evening rather than a full day?
If you've sniffed it and its fine?

Thank you. Just reading all this 'wash after one glance at a pair of jeans' nonsense was making me wince. Jeans are hard wearing heavy cotton clothes and designed to be worn day in day out. Not washed after each wearing!
Looks like some people need to jump in the shower a little more often

I agree.
I think one of the reasons my washer/dryer has lasted well is that it doesn't get the heavy use some must if people are changing clothes on a daily basis. There really is no need for it.
