How many times would you wear a pair of trousers....

Trousers or skirts last a working week unless I spill something on them. Shirts or t-shirts get two days. Undies every day.0

I would only wear a top or t shirt once before washing!
I wear layers, I often wear a t shirt over a t shirt. I'd only wash the bottom one. If I have only worn that bottom one as an under layer for a couple of hours for yard clothes I'll keep it and wear it as an under layer again.
We wash A LOT. Serious amounts. Cutting down after a strict chat from Old styles was a huge Mse move. And no worse for my life. . If we were to wash everything after wearing once the washing machine would be on constantly, as despite not having kids, or even DH all week, we have clothes changes throughout the day for different tasks. There is a point at which even if something doesn't smell I will wash it, and a some clothes which do not get worn of
R long /often I was after wear as I don't want to put them away for a long period of time unwashed, that would not be nice I agree.0 -
I work mainly from home so I wash the jeans and sweatshirt I wear at home once I've worn them for 2 weeks. I feel like I should be washing them at least every week, but I can't be bothered.
Everything else (t-shirts, socks, pants, bras) are washed after I've worn them once.0 -
2 days max. Dirt doesn't have to be visible to be present .. bacteria, viruses, spores etc.. and just because you don't think they smell doesn't mean no one else does..
I don't think anyone's ever become ill from wearing a pair of trolleys too long."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Even if it isn't dirty?
Yeah...I don't know, I think it is because tops don't feel fresh after one wear, they might be a bit wrinkly, and I just prefer to wear them fresh.
This doesn't apply to cardigans, which I will wear a few times, or tops that I just wear around the house, which again I will wear a few times before washing.0 -
2 or 3 days, mainly thinking of work trousers, i have 2 pairs so try and get 2/3 shifts out of each pair, jeans maybe a week or so (considering i only wear them a few hours a day, live in pjs when at home). T shirts/dresses will wear for as long as i can get awy with (worn same frequency as jeans). Undies-thankfully i have enough to have a clean pair everyday for a month! I also don't have a washing machine and can only usually afford/fit in one visit to the laundrette a week0

I think I'm like most of you - anything which touches the skin gets washed daily, except jeans/slacks which I put on clean at the beginning of the week. If I go out to lunch or whatever, then obviously clean. I'm older, less hormonal than in my younger days, and wear cotton knickers, so feel I'm OK with the weekly change of trousers. If I were working, it would be a daily change, however, I wouldn't chance it.0
