How many times would you wear a pair of trousers....

I don't have jeans but my denim skirts don't get washed that often, only if they are dirty.
I always wash my tops and t-shirts after just one wear. Even in winter, I can't get away with wearing them two days running. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
The only clothing I don't wash after just one use are cardigans, hoodies, bras (get through 2 or 3 a week), dressing gowns and jackets.
Everything else goes straight out to wash.Over futile odds

I'd wear jeans longer than trousers as I've heard the age old thing of it not being good to wash them too often. Tend to do a full five/six days wearing them for work and then wash them on a Saturday.
I have a tendency to put a pair of jeans on at start of week and become attached to wearing them when they give a little so I am a real one for keeping the same pair on all week although not always, sometimes I'll switch and if I do they go in the wash immediately.
Trousers I'd probably only do a couple of days max as they are a finer material than denim and I personally think they'd smell if I went longer!
I would NEVER ever wear a pair of knickers or socks beyond a day though. Having said that I wouldn't wash my bras daily. I tend to wear for a 2-3 days dependent on how hot it is!
Always always change my tops everyday0 -
I was getting worried reading the first few comments thinking I am a dirty !!!!!!. I wash my jeans no less than every 2 weeks....of course if I spill something on them they get washed that day. T-shirts tend to get a bit smelly under my arms so they get washed every day..might stretch it to 2 days if the first time was just a few hours....every day with socks and underwear. Jackets probably monthly.:footie:

Work trousers get about 3 days out of them, then they need washing cos of all the kneeling on the warehouse floor, getting covered in dust etc.
Work shirts have to have a clean one each shift, as they are pale blue and attract dirt like mad.
Normal jeans, depends on what I have been doing, but if nothing too bad, then usually about a week.0 -

I assume you mean no more than, if so I do the same as you. I can't see the point of washing trousers more often unless I have split something on them. Perhaps if they were tight fitting then I might wash them weekly.0 -
I wear jeans up to about 5 times. Clean underwear each day though and never wear the same top for more than 2 days in a row.0
