ASDA is selling Yankee Candle sampler teeny candles for £1 so that you can decide whether you like the pong before lashing out £6/£8.
I went past Clinton Cards today and there was a huge sign in the window saying Yankee Candles 25% off - maybe it's nationwide ? Checked website and it doesn't say but a few are reduced. They've also got Christmas gift sets from 6.99 online too

I always tell my partner to get any but the green one! I don't know what it is but it's icky
would never switch from fairy though, IMO it's the best washing up liquid and you only need a tiny bit so economical. X
If you ever go to Iceland (the shop), look out for the tea tree and mint ones. Lovely smell, you don't need much and it doesn't dry out my hands. It's not made for the English market and our Iceland (and in Crete) is the only place we've seen it
As for disappointments, the last time I had andrex loo roll it was weirly elastic/stretchy just like crepe paper. Horrid. We use Freedom scented ones from our cheapy shop. £2.50 for 9. It's nice and I would use it with or without the smell. They recently had a really cheap lot of Regina in the shop too and that was even more lovely but was a one off. He can't get it/can't get it at that price anymore.Thank you to everyone who posts on the competitions boards. You all rock!0 -
I'd already posted about the mega cheap (79p?) 'functional' kitchen roll from Wilkos being useless and went up a level last week and got the £1.25 rolls and it's just as bad, so thin you need about 3 sheets for the minimum of use! Presume they've changed suppliers recently as was always fairly ok before.0

Anything with Ainsley Harriot on it!. I've had the soups and a lime and chilli cous cous, they taste of absolutley nothing. Really dreadfull.0

I have to disagree with the Ainsley thing, his Lentil Dahl and Tomato & Garlic Cous Cous are both yummy!
As for things that aren't worth buying? Tesco Value Instant Coffee. It tasted like gravy. Yuck.0 -

I rarely go in supermarkets at all now so do miss out on those offers. The £1 ones from Milk & More are very good though for the price.0
