Things which AREN'T worth buying...?

Anything Cadbury's for starters. Cadbury's Dairy Milk tastes like sweet mud. Wispa has got that overcooked chocolate taste quite often.
Then there's Galaxy which must be at least 60% sugar. And not forgetting ghastly Thorntons. You'll find better chocolate in Lidl.
My grandfather was a chocolatier though so I've had a lot of good chocolate.
Hmm. We'll have to agree to disagree on this one. Every time someone disses Cadbury's chocolate, I tend to find the word "chocolatier" soon follows.
That's all very well but I've also eaten lots of expensive chocolate creations from chocolatiers and, although, very nice, I never found the massive increase in price was worth it.
Reminds me of people who eat 95% dark chocolate and act like people who eat milk chocolate belong on the Jeremy Kyle show.
I respect the art of the chocolatier but the fact is that many people still absolutely love good old British Cadbury's chocolate. I also adore a bar of beautiful, creamy Galaxy too.
My point is, surely it's not just "British" chocolate that you don't like. There are many British chocolatiers making fantastic British chocolate. And have you tasted American chocolate? It's almost unedible.
Horses for courses but personally I prefer the creamy, full of sugar chocolate that we Brits have loved for many years. Whether it's "quality" or not is irrelevent to me so long as it tastes like heaven as it melts in the mouth.
I agree with you that the chocolate in Lidl is a bit rank but there are some gorgeous chocolate bars in Aldi.0 -

You mean they don't???

I am never sure what category the participants on the Jeremy Kyle show should be in actually - thankfully I have only seen the whole show once and caught the very occasional trailer or end of a show. Car crash TV doesn't appeal.0 -
Cheeky!! I love Cadbury chocolate but have never watched Jeremy Kyle!!0

Most ready made biscuits and cake (with the exception of a an occassional chocolate hobnob)
Pretty much all cleaning materials including fabric conditioner- they stink and make me feel ill. Some eco ones are tolerable - currently using Mrs Meyers.
Jam - once you've tasted homemade everything else just tastes of sugar.
Instant coffee.
I do however have a soft spot for cadburys
People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

The dark chocolate one with the nuts. I also like the Master Roth ones in a very dark brown wrapper - there are various ones - chilli and orange.0 -
Fairy original washing up liquid. The smell of it makes me sick. I had a bottle of it and I gave it to my mum to use.
I use any of them which have a fruit smell.0 -
Wilkos functional kitchen towel - it's like tissue paper and sheds everywhere! For 98p there are much better equivalents for the same price.0
