it is a shame I'm working but October half term would be ok for me (it would give me plenty of time to book a day off) not been to brum before (well only the NEC) so it would be a bit of an adventure.
If it's any help, Birmingham school half term is week commencing 28th October, so the Bull Ring may be a trifle busy.
It occurs to me that half term may not be the same everywhere... so, confirming when your half term is could be the first part of the Cunning Plan.I can assist with planning, interesting places and getting everyone together at New Street if you're heading over by train as it's a challenge at the moment
Annie: HHC= half hour cleaning. But it's taken me so long to post that someone has already told you.
Well, they aren't coming to refit the flue, dadnabbit. Letter through the door at 8.25 am.Oh well, cleaner kitchen :rotfl:
Anybody wants me, I'm in the hallway, moving Really Useful Boxes. Well, after another cuppa joe.:coffee:

I am beginning to wonder what has happened to mu get up and go. I have been having a problem with hot flushes recently (Aunt Flo has gone walkabout again) and I have achieved nothing. It's taken me a week to ring a plumber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
However I have left a message on his voicemail and I 'm hoping he rings me back soon - it's a problem with the w/m plumbing - when I've sorted out the plumbing then maybe I'll feel capable of ringing up the people who are mending my w/m.
Gosh - I sound pathetic! I'm not a great fan of ringing people up normally, but I have excelled myself this week.
Hugs to all the poorlies, hope you are coping TMD. Off to do the washing up....

I'm going to Honey Bear's then, because she lives somewhere on the south coast holidayish IIRC...
And you'd be very welcome, too, Valli. I'll make you a cream tea, an extra special one for anyone that does some dusting.
Dusty It doesn't sound as though you've had a holiday at all. I hope the journey back goes smoothly and safely.Better is good enough.0 -

Cab I ask for the power of the flyladies to be channelled this evening please - my mum has a second viewing on her house.
We are desperate to get her moved before the winter (she's moving to be near my sister) and her estate agent has been completely useless. This is the first repeat viewing in 3 months....:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

We've been at each other's throats for ages now and have decided to call it a day. All amicable so far and the children have realised that we can be friends and they will not lose complete contact with either of us. Very sad as we have been going out since we were in our early teens and would have been celebrating our 30th year next year, but these things do happen.cyclingyorkie wrote: »Cab I ask for the power of the flyladies to be channelled this evening please - my mum has a second viewing on her house. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
cyclingyorkie, fingers crossed for your Mums viewing.
Have cleaned the bathroom (properly!), and the same for the downstairs loo, hoovered the landing and middle of the bedroom floors, taken the dog for a nice long walk, made chicken casserole for tea (even done the spuds and veg) and had a bit of a tidy round in the lounge and kitchen.
Really need to eat something before I go to work but not hungry. Will regret it later if I dont have something.
juliejim, hows the bed dismantling going? I tend to leave things like this to OH but feel so pleased with myself when I sort something without him!
Right better get ready for work.0
