I'm up for this - like ionafan, setting the date asap would be good for me
Slept a lot todaypost-festival shatteredness!! Also went to see Dad and de-Reading my tent, etc.
Aiming to get up a little earlier each day from now on so I can (hopefully) manage to get up for work on Tuesday!
Tomorrow I must go and do a repeat prescription, do several HHCs and a least look at some school stuff!

Just updating the list so that DD has got one to work from tomorrow. We're going to have a C-word movie day on Saturday with hot chocolate/squirty cream/marshmallows and choc chip cookies as a reward if she helps out
DD said my face its noticeably swollen and its now effecting my speech slightly and causing me to bite the inside of my cheek if I'm not careful, but its not as painful as it was this morning although anything touching my face is still quite painful. Its also noticeably warmer than the other side of my face so its a corker of an infection it would appear.
I've just remembered I'm supposed to be at the opticians on Friday morning, think I might ring them and re-arrange it for when DD has gone back to school as I already have plans for the few days she's home and then I've got loads of work on. I don't want anyone near my face if I can help it until this problem is sorted out or they may be learning a few new swear words

Morning all
I'm lying in bed with my kindle at the moment. Seeing as I did hardly anything yesterday I've got loads to do today as well as the dentist at 2-55 and then beavers tonight. I've still got stuff to do in my bedroom - I really wanted DH to take the old bed apart last night but he didn't want to so I might take the mattress off it today and see what it's like to take apart. I've also done no ironing so I could do with getting some of that done at some point.
Anyway I'm rambling so I think I'll spend a bit longer browsing on my kindle then I'll get up.
BTW I'd be up for a meet in Brum.
Have a good day all
Hugs

Evening everyone,
I just wanted to say thank you for all your kind wishes. Today I have decluttered a 5 hour drive to Edinburgh, eaten dinner with my sister and familyand been to a gig which was so loud, my ears are still ringing.
Tomorrow we tidy up the last few bits, deliver the wedding cake to the restaurant and have dinner with our collective families. By 11.30 on Friday morning I will be someone's missus
Worth all the stress? You betcha! xx
Well you will probably have other things to think about tomorrow so I just wanted to wish you a very very Happy Wedding Day. Savour every moment of it, let everyone spoil you rotten and try not to worry about any of the practical stuff. Enjoy!
I am working this aft so will be flying this morning. Might think of a cheap and cheerful treat for the kids tomorrow as our last proper day of the holidays.0 -
Morning all
Last day before we pack up for the long journey home. Off to a market today, out for luch and then lounging all afternoon. Just need to gee everybody along to get ready.
I have washing to put on the line and the WM to put on - like to take some stuff back clean if I can
My boys back on Tuesday so I'll have 48 hours at home to finish the BTS prep before much longer school days. Love September and I'm starting to formulate plans. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
