    well done Honey Bear.

Plumber has fixed the problem (cheaply), so I phoned washing machine company - and was underwhelmed to discover that the earliest it will be back is Monday.

    Back to widow Twanky mode!

DD2 is off to the GP's in a bit - I think she has IBS - but her digestive system has been bothering her for a while. Told her to mention the fact that she regularly goes dizzy and actually fainted at b/f's the other night. Now her ears are ringing and her jaw hurts! Sounds like she needs a full service!

HB I'm jealous - I can't drink gin, it gives me the most horrendous headache.:(

Bathroom's as sparkly as I can manage at the mo - the shower screen ( a sort of "concertina" jobbie with five acrylic panels) has come up lovely with the jolly old white vinegar.:T

I've also tidied some stuff in the spare room, and brought some of the stores therein through to the kitchen as they'll be needed imminently.

Apart from the regular monthly stock-up at the farmers market,I don't want to do anything other than immediate-use perishables shopping (eg milk etc) til after our holiday now.;)

Looking forward to welcoming Lizzie tomorrow morning.:o

    Howdy

I'm laid in bed with a gently snoring croupy little moo. Bigger moo is under his bed playing with cars.

Did a wash this morning and set DW going.

The farm we were going to was closed because it was the funeral of a boy who was run over there :( won't be going there then! How awful. So we went towards the garden centre, stopped at (another) farm shop and fed the animals. Then went to see the guineas and had lunch in garden centre.

Came home at 2 and been in bed since! Oops. Still, now she's got what he had, it makes sense to rest... ;)

But we have nowhere to go until Saturday now. I guess it's time to tackle the bathroom!

Pigpen, you can come here, it might not usually be peaceful but DD voice is almost gone so its as good a time as any ;) and if you can "persuade" the kids to let go of some of the baby toys I will consider it a job well done :D then you can put your feet up. They will even put your new "dolly" Delilah in the dolly cot to give you a break ;)

Seriously had work shoveling all this stuff around. Took a couple of hours off to go and run errands. As I was trotting past the Distillery on the way to the handmade chocolate shop to buy some as thank yous for a couple of people, an entire flock of firefighters were clearly having their annual familiarization tour. *delicious*

Thanks for the posivibes this afternoon ladies - my mum has received an offer on her house. It's from a first time buyer and as mum wants a flat that is empty I am hoping it might be relatively hassle free!
