  • I am beginning to wonder what has happened to mu get up and go.

Snap! - Up until last night I was in exactly the same position, but then read the messages about dot-to-dotting and 101 things being rehomed in 48 minutes (sorry, forgotten who's post it was - but very well done!) and it set something going. Went to bed thinking about it and have woken up still thinking about it - so guess what the plan for today is .....

Changing the subject - this is going to make me sound terrible, but I need some help re: freezing food (total newbie situation here). I've been given some blackberries and intend buying some apples as b&a is my very favouritest pud. I do know that if I cook food, it has to be left to go cold before being frozen, - does it matter if I cook them together, let it go cold and then freeze or should I just bag and freeze them without cooking?

Thanks in advance for any advice and hope to keep you posted about my dotting and rehoming.

    Morning all.

Hugs and vibes to all. I'm still in pain, my face is still slightly swollen, but its a lot more localised so some progress made :( I only want to rip the offending tooth out now as opposed to the whole of the side of my head. To make matters worse I've run out of the strong painkillers so I'm hoping the Mr A delivery due this afternoon has some in it & they're not out of stock.

I can't believe its Friday already. We seem to have done nothing this week, and its showing in the house so I'm on a mission today to get DD to do something other than watch TV/play on her DS/laptop or read. I've put the Wizard of Oz on and in each ad break she has to go and do a job ;) She's just dusted upstairs, which didn't take long. Next break she can run the vacuum over, I just need to carry it upstairs for her. ;) Once I've updated my list, I'm going to tackle these belt loops. I tried yesterday, but fell asleep on the sofa instead.

I remembered to call the opticians yesterday and they were surprised that I'd called to cancel as if it doesn't happen very often. I didn't make a new appointment though as I'm not sure how long my face is going to be this bad or whats going to happen when I go back to the dentists on Wednesday.

Update 1: First lot of approximately (I lost count, but was in the 90s when I did!) 100 things rehomed. Took a lot longer than 48 minutes, but "slow and steady won the race" ..... Having a much needed cuppa now, and then I'll be back on the job.

Honey bear - do you actually live in heaven?

    Yes.

Planning for filming is going ahead for next year and I need [STRIKE]victims[/STRIKE] volunteers to practise on regarding catering. So, if the Flybus stopped by, flew here and then ate here, and if the food were a disappointment, would Flyladies be mollified by a Plym0uth gin aperatif, followed by Chocaccino's best handmades for dessert (double helpings for Lamewolf and teetotalers, Mummyyof5)?

I can't multiquote however many different ways I try it, so I think I've got this right. Here goes, anyway.

Deco: I hear what you're saying about fire fighters. I regard them in the same way as cup cakes - fabulous to look at when surrounded by others, but not for personal consumption.

Well done Julie Jim on the bed deconstruction. Pigpen, I don't know what Pikachu is, but your girls have absolutely wonderful skin. Lovely. (How's the cat test result?) RebeccaH: In this house we cook them together and freeze them in pie/crumble sized portions after they've cooled without the topping. CY I hope the house sale goes smoothly, and yes, I have kept quiet about the assets, because if everyone knew how fabulous it was here, we'd be swamped.

    It's raining here. *bleargh*
    Better is good enough.

HB.. We've not had his results back yet. I will ring this afternoon if they've not called me. Pikachu are a type of pokemon.. yellow electric mice. DD2 (top) thinks she is ugly still.. but for 16 and 19 their skin is lovely.. most of their friends have awful complexions :( .. neither use anything but water to wash their faces.

    OH made cuppa.
    I made toast.

Afternoon all, I think I've hit a brick wall..lol. I've been up since 8am this morning as I had a lovely repair man coming to fit a new door seal to my 8 month old oven.. Anyway that has been done, he was here at 9.15 and stayed for all of 1 min..lol So I decided to take some of the cookery books etc out of the bookcase and rehome them in my dresser. Plus I then hoovered all the stairs thoroughly and then as I had the hose attachment on the Dyson decided to do the sofa and armchairs..

I've now come to a full stop..lol I really should hoover the living room floor and make a start on the ironing..but I want to curl up and go to sleep..lol I've even popped a nice summery dress on and styled my hair, oh and have a nice frilly apron on. :D

LW I have started doing an advert challenge for myself when I am watching the t.v. So when an advert comes on I go off and do what needs doing, then when the programme comes back I leave it until the next advert. I'm amazed at how much I am doing during these breaks :D
Piggers hope your cat is okay..

I am now confused as to who is doing the lists next week... is it my turn or is it Dusty's...and is my list week every third week or fortnightly still. Gawds its enough to make my brain spin..and that doesn't take a lot at the moment..lol

Nicki I have bookmarked your links for C and am going to make a start on them so that I am all planned and ahead of myself when C does creep up on me..lol

Valli can you explain what your one thing we do for ourselves is..not sure if I've read it or I missed it..

Am going to have a look at redoing the lists when I do them..so if anyone has anything that they want me to incorporate do shout!!

Ok off to hunt down a cuppa and put the wash load that has just finished on the line :D
