Mr A has been and I now have the stronger painkillers so I've had some lunch so I could take them :j
Belt loops pinned to one pair of pants (had to get DD to put the pants on so I could see where to put them), will stitch them on soon and use them to position the loops on the other pairDealt with the chilled/frozen shopping, put out another spider, DD has vacuumed through upstairs and washed up. Just going to juggle the washing, put some more of the shopping away and then I'll put a film on and do those loops.
I want to see if I can get them done before the other loads of laundry are finished.

I'm dealing with a box with about 50 items in it. And there are two (I think) like this in the attic. It's giving me ideas.
Decluttering. OH hates the Portmeri0n china, and there are two lids and one base from a butter dish in this box. Just checked the Bay of E, and it turns out these things go for money. The rest is at the chalet, so I think we'll get it all back here for listing in December when people are hunting for ideas for presents. There are people who collect it, so that should bring in a few pennies.
Has anyone else thought about ditching their old photograph albums? I was shoving stuff around up there the other day and I realised I haven't looked at any of my albums for over 10 years, and most of them not for 20 or more. I used to be terribly sentimental, but I'm not any more and the idea of living in the past just doesn't appeal any more. Anyone else feel that, or is this just a phase? I've got four or five boxes of albums, they take up a LOT of space and they're heavy. (When my mother died she had several dozens of albums and I'm afraid to say the sheer quantity was so overwhelming, we just let them all go. I occasionally think about the only decent photo of myself that someone took in the 1980s and realise I should have filleted that out and kept it, but not with any real regret. Is this feeling normal?)Better is good enough.0 -

I'm not much of a one for photo albums. They do tend to just gather dust and take up space IMO. But you can have the photos scanned professionally and stored on CDs / a hard drive, which to me is a much more practical way of storing any special pics.Egg Loan - [strike]£4921.84[/strike] £0!! :j Barclaycard - £3866.47 Legal + Trade - [strike]£2700.96[/strike] £0!! :j Triton - [strike]£1730.89[/strike] £0!! :j Next - [STRIKE]£776.15[/STRIKE] £126.88 Littlewoods - [strike]£217.16[/strike] £0!! :j Housemate - [strike]£1300[/strike] £0!! :j Capital One - [STRIKE]£1652.51[/STRIKE] £1,081.58 Vanquis - [strike]£2337.75[/strike] £375.58

Update 2: Well, my sitting room now looks a tad better! This dot-to-dotting involved sorting paperwork and has been an ongoing task since goodness knows when (does that make it a frog?) There's still some more to be sorted, but am going to have lunch with Doctors, do another 101 in however long it will take and then come back to it. See you all later .....0 -
