Morning!
DS poorly in night with a fever, took ages to cool him downand this morning he said he didn't want to go to summer club, even if there is a trip, as he wants to have a nap (not like him at all). But all the way to dropping DD off, he was wittering about how they made biscuits for the trip yesterday and can he have a biscuit but not go on the trip
So, we went to collect his bag (as today was going to be his last day there before big school!) and asked for a biscuit- I checked again but he wanted to go home.
I've not heard a peep for the last hour and a half, he's on the sofa watching polar express!
So I'm WFH, flying and childmindingBossymoo

Good morning
Not too bad yesterday. I had 1 lady round to sign contracts yesterday (before & after school) and have another round today at 12 (baby full time). I have got the paperwork all ready. I also spent some time yesterday setting up my online system (I got a years freebie) If the system is worth it, I will pay for it next year.
DH did some gardening, and some ironing (he loves his new ironing board). I hoovered through downstairs, then vaxed the LR & DR. I just need to put the rug back down now.
I have my list, so I need to cross some stuff off today. The summerhouse is on the list - need to do that while the sun is still shining.0 -

Excellent extras
Start your ascent of Mount Ironmore - aim to reach base camp today!
E&W - school looms - source those sandwich boxes and bags - make sure they're clean - wipe them out and let them air dry if necessary
What about making a banana loaf (fat free; recipe on request) then slice it before freezing - add a slice to the lunchbox - it will be thawed by dinner time (or lunch if you're in the South;) and keep the sandwiches cool!
Ruby Tuesday
Bedroom antics! Main bedroom (yours!) or one in dire need!
15 Minutes?
Clear that floordrobe.
Vacuum as much of the carpet as you can easily access
30 minutes?
Dust every surface
Polish those mirrors
Dust the headboard if it's solid; vacuum it with the upolstery brush is it's padded
wipe the switches
1 whole hour
Strip the bedding
get that duvet on the line outside to air in the sun
vacuum and turn your mattress
dust the skirting board
Obviously (well I hope it's obvious!) start from the bottom of the list - the hour jobs need doing first!
Extra challenge
pick a drawer and sort it. Lets have some order and no holey knickers, laddered tights or anything else LLA (left lying around) if it's past it's best it needs to GO!
Your bedroom should be a sanctuary; with fresh bedding, fresh air and a place of peace and pleasure...even if that pleasure is reading or just sleeping. You can't recharge your inner batteries if the charger's broken!
Hump Day! Wonderful wiping Wednesday
love your lounge!
15 minutes?
Open windows
think about where you sit - and ensure that the most irritating/annoying/niggly area in your line of sight gets some lurrve...clear a hotspot!
30 minutes?
dust everything you possibly can
wipe those light switches and ICKY remotes and any other sticky spots
if it's a whole hour
then FULL MONTY - bring out the big guns - whatever equipment you need and tackle that floor; moving furniture if you can
don't forget the skirting board - if you've got it, it needs dusting!
Your lounge is for lounging IN and you cannot lounge in a messy, cluttered room. If you canniot deal with it in a day then start a dot to dot plan - get one area clear this week; get a second area clear next week end eventually the dots (ie clear areas) will join together (DOT-TO-DOT is pat. pending and belongs to AnWsmum!)
Joining in late this week. Hope everyone is well0 -
Morning all.
Woken this morning with atrocious toothache in the whole of one side of my jaw & ear to the point I was nearly in tears when I rinsed my mouth with mouthwash. I can't clean my teeth as I can't open my mouth wide enough without a lot of pain. Emergency appointment at dentists made for 2pm, so for now I'm sitting with an icepack on my face which has eased the pain enough that I am able to chew some squishy pizza topping just. This has helped reduce the dizziness & nausea I've had, now I need to find the straws so I can try and have a drink.
So far today I've done some paid stuff and been to Mr A for milk, butter, fabric conditioner & an ironing board! Now I'm going to play some games to try and keep me distracted as I can't really clean with one hand.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Out living room doesnt tend to be cluttered, no toys etc, obv this will be different before long with a newborn, nappies wipes etc, so we'll see. Dh tends to be a bit ocd about not having dd's toys in there and takes them straight back upstairs after shes finished with them!
Also put washing on the line, washed dogs beds and food mats, and hung to dry.
Cleaned the kitchen, and hoovered the whole of downstairs.
Why is it when youve just cleaned the kitchen you get hungry and make a mess :mad:Still here..... but working on that!0 -
Doglets were collected at 09:45, so Mr Dys0n has done what he does best and we're now free of tracked-in bits of grass from the garden. I then spent a fun half-hour removing wrapped-around hair from Mr Dys0n's roller - for those who don't know, my hair is waist-length, and I get bad lupus-related hair-fall, so there's always a load on the floor to be vacuumed up.
I need to make a cake.:( Mr LW failed to warn me that the tin was empty once he'd done his lunch box for today - I like a day's notice if possible, so that I can plan ahead and conserve a bit of energy for the task. Oh well.....
Talking of energy, CY how's DD1 after her trip away? No bad after-effects, I hope?:o
I also need to nip to the post-box - birthday card for Mr LW's nephew; the mobility buggy is out in the carport, so that'll be easy enough to do, so long as I don't meet anyone while I'm out.:o
T'other task for later on is a wax bath for my hands and feet; I didn't do it with Patsy & Pandy here, as they'd have had their little noses in the hot wax, but as we're dogless til Friday, I can get it done.
Friday morning will see Lizzie arrive for a four-day stay; she's a new guest, a "Sprocker" Spaniel (cross between a Springer and a Cocker) so hopefully she'll be a nice dog.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Moan first..
my back hurts, my stomach hurts, my hips hurt, my ears hurt, my throat hurts, my feet hurt and all the bits in between join it all together with a dull irritating ache..
Squeak and Dot are full of snot (ooh Dr Seuss eat your heart out!)
We have Spam today as DD1 has her college enrolment and he was throwing toys at the senior staff and interfering with everyones work lol.. DD2 and DS2 have their enrolment today too so I have a house full of bored tiddlers.
2 loads of washing to hang out but I need OH to bring the baskets outside!

Good Morning flyladies.
I was up early and had breakfast with the little ones at 7.30. I spent a while browsing online for a dress for DSD's wedding which is 5 weeks today. Can't find anything I like.:(
9am DS2 and I headed out to get him school shoes. He's out of children's sizes now so I had to spend £59. Not what I had budgetted for. We then headed to the uniform shop and did another £20. Finished at Tesco's to buy school supplies and did another £7.
I've cleaned out the hall coat cupboard and will employ the washing machine to give all washable coats a wash. It's nice and sunny today so they are drying on hangers on the line. All outgrown coats (7) are going on Eb@y. I need to recover some money after this morning's spending frenzy.0
