The girls have been for their walk, and I've done their postcard (paws hurt now, with all that writing). I need to groom them in a bit.:o The dogs, that is, not my paws (though truth be told, I can't remember the last time I applied hand cream).:whistle:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Been at work since 6.30. Home via @ldi. Shopping all put away and just having some leftover dinner myself
will go get tots in 5min.
Kitchen fairly tidy, but need to pop out in garden soon as forecast rain tonight and sandpit wants covering and scooters putting away. I need to try and move the brown bin, hasn't been emptied and its really heavymight just nudge it under the tree and leave for 2 weeks
If I think on I'll test smoke alarms on my way out... Also need to sort a spot of washing for morning (working from home tomorrow :T), make the small folk some supper and drink lots of coffee - was an early start
After tomorrow I'm finished until 9th however spoke to boss man today and told him I'll need to be home the Mon and Tue as DS second week a school is still part-days so I'm not actually gong back in for two weeks. Hurrah! It was freezing in there this morning, I had my coat on for the first couple of hours. Feels like autumn. Lots of mist on my way in - but it was quite early.
So, I'll be more organised flying-wise for the next few weeks, honestBossymoo

Failure on the chest of drawers sorting front. Top three drawers done, everything else squished into the next one, and that won't do. Bottom drawer is bed linen, and drawer in bed base with bags etc in is only half full, so three drawers will be done tomorrow and then I'll see if that works better as a system. Bath time for me after I've ripped up all the masking tape and moved things back into place in the cupboard under the front steps. (Two more kilner-type jars found - mini yay!)Better is good enough.0

Upstairs smoke alarm was hanging off ceiling  its a wired in one so still working but I've slotted it back onto the catch. Downstairs one tested too.
Collected kiddies, DS helped me move the rest of the twigs / leaves from the tree pruning at the weekend, bless him. Peddling between back and front of house on his little tractor, pulling a trailer behind him. Some was smushed into brown bin (which I could move, in the end!), some leafy bits into my re-sited compost bin and the rest over the back fence
To be fair, it is *my* land and falls within the boundaries, and is not passable by anyone, so not an eyesore. I just don't like to dump lots of stuff over there as it falls away quite steep, so its safer to be able to see where the ground drops.
Anyway. Tis sorted. And rest of garden stuff tidied away. Kids fed, cleaned and sent to bed, now having a :coffee: and I feel ready to drop.
Going to call my mum in a bit, as stepdad had (hopefully) laser surgery today, so fingers crossed it was successful, and not too invasive for him. MIL has sent him some charity shop finds that might cheer him upBossymoo

T*ts on a fish
Still to do:
Monday
Wipe the loo (different, dedicated-to-the-loo cloth for the outside)
wipe over the taps
wipe the handles
run the vacuum over high traffic areas
empty all the bins
Tuesday
Clear that floordrobe.
Vacuum as much of the carpet as you can easily access
Dust every surface
Polish those mirrors
wipe the switches
vacuum and turn your mattress
dust the skirting board
Earlier I tidied the hall, put rubbish out, put recycling out, made packed lunches for day out, caught up with all current clients, finished other work & emailed to boss, hung out washing. Spent lovely afternoon out with little niece & nephew. Cooked dinner & cleared away.
Bossy I hope all went well for your step-dad x Piggers I hope your headache goes soon x Mrs Dog I'm glad you are feeling so much better*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that.
