I read that as Valli - a bit harsh, I thought, she's only trying to keep us in order ;)

    I would never do that.

Cleaned bath, general tidy around, bathroom & washed up 2x

Maids - hovered, made beds, mopped floors :o

    play park visited
lake visited & 3 beautiful swans curled their wings
crazy golf postponed as DS1 was tired. He has spent most of the holiday on his phone

I have just tried physiotherm. It is a bit like a sauna. My skin feels softer and my aching joints feel a little better.

    Off to swimming soon x

I've just found three boxes of jars, two of which are going straight for recycling - yay, more carp out of the house. I also found about 10 kilner jars. They need a wash and the seals will need replacing, but that'll help clear the kitchen cupboards of opened and half used packets that keep tumbling out. More 'Yay.' Dog walked and old LPs taken to CS - more out. Crud stuffed in attic, so at least out of my sight. This could get addictive. Laptop repaired, updated and defragging is happening. Triple yay.
    Better is good enough.

Not much has happened here. I'm unpicking belt loops from DDs old school pants, and when I've done that I'll start stitching them onto her new ones.

DD has had a reprieve from ironing when the ironing board collapsed  Its rusted through at one of the joints so I'll be off to buy a new one tomorrow. Its lasted about 8 years so I can't complain. ;) At least I caught the new iron so I don't have to replace that as well!

I best get back to the unpicking otherwise I'll never get it finished! :(

    Afternoon all!

I am hanging on in there! Frequent pangs of stress are slowly being replaced with pangs of excitement as things get crossed off my many, many lists.

Tried on my wedding dress and it still fits, HOORAY!!!! :j Was having a real flap as I feel as though I have put weight on recently, but couldn't confirm or deny as I have BDD (and a sporadic ED) and never ever ever stand on scales.

Finally had DSS, DS1 and DS2 shorn. They are all looking extra handsome now :)

Car filled to the brim with fuel, couldn't check tyre pressures as machines were broken at all three petrol stations I tried

Jeweller called AGAIN re: insurance valuation for my ring and they've finally emailed it to me, just got to call insurer and get it added to my policy now.

My packing done, boys stuff ready to be chucked into suitcase in a minute. Leaving DD to pack her own but have given her a fairly small bag and if it doesn't fit in there, it's not coming :D

Sitting down for 50 mins to watch a West Wing then cracking on with a couple of loads worth of ironing, last bit of packing and all the other listy bits.

    Almost there…!

Well done, Fizz :T How lovely to have so many handsome men in your life ;)

LW, I lost your post in the multiquote somehow, but "as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike" is priceless :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I've got the Dys0n working again (it was all gunged up with plaster dust) and hoovered the bedrooms for the first time for a month. I've dug out some plants that I don't like and replanted in their place bits of things that I do like from the border which the gardening gang are going to dig out tomorrow. And I swept the front path after DH loaded the car yet again with more stuff for the tip. To quote HB - triple yay!

some idiot decided to ring trying to sell me insurance:mad:
Life insurance by any chance? They have phoned me, too.

DS has his accomodation  at the price - and there's a swimming pool  and a gym  still, given that DS loves his sport ...

been to work; cleaned out the fish tank:( and it is now out of the classroom drying. I need to find somewhere to store it, but it all needs to dry out properly, first. Managed to photocopy some important documents;)

Any ideas why my teeth ache? Not just 1 but the whole of 1 side of my mouth - they've been like this for a few days!
Quite possibly grinding in your sleep, I have a teeth guard foe mine or have you had a cold? Can affect the roots of the upper teeth which go into the jaw cavity.

Been out walking up steep rocky gorges and into caves, exhausted now so having a cuppa before starting dinner and somebody can empty the DW

Mr T delivery arrived and apparently I've ticked no substitutions! I've just rung them and said I always have substitutions and they've said well it has to be done at your end so you must have done it! I'm not impressed - there's quite a bit missing from it and some of it was half of an offer so I've paid full price for the other half.

Fizz - have a lovely time!
