Had to take the car into the garage this morning as it's been smelling of petrol. Leaky hose from petrol tank apparently and so have to collect after work tomorrow and pay another car bill!

    Today I.....
    dropped off car
went out for a walk with DS and my dad and his dog
cleaned the bathroom, hoovered but not washed the floor
washed the 2 remaining throws from lounge
    hoovered lounge
    hoovered stairs
ironed all DS's clothes from ironing pile.:T
    cleaned the oven
    updated gift list
    made DS lunch for tomorrow

Tomorrow, on top of tomorrow's list, I need to...
remember to take DS's car seat when we leave in the morning as collecting the car after I leave work and pick him up from school.
    wash bathroom floor
    buy Father's day cards
iron DH's clothes from ironing pile

We had sun most of the day, just rain when DH was supposed to start his cricket match!
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

    Hello everyone,

Sorry, havnt read anything anyone has done this week, so hope all is ok xxx

Well, im sure you can guess i havnt been flying much this week, new LO is lovely, but all my routines have gone to pot, so i need to start thinking about getting a new routine sorted, but no idea what that will be yet!!!

Mind you, have had a good day today - cleaned the kitchen, bathroom, toilets and living room (including all the cobwebs that have started appearing in corners!!!). Ive also hoovered all of downstairs this evening and made tomorrows packed lunches, so very busy, but feeling much happier that ive finally got something done.

Normally i would start washing the childrens bedding tomorrow, but with the weather like it is, im going to wait until the weekend and do them all (hopefully if the weather improves!!!). Do have a full load ready to go tomorrow, but that will all go on the maiden.

Ok, off to relax now ive checked in - hope everyone has a lovely evening,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

:j I have done it! Cupboard from hell is halfway there (limbo?), I have chucked out so much rubbish and reorganised it apart from top shelf. I can now keep the hoover in there, it was living in the shed which didn't help motivate me or anyone else to take it for a walk very often! Next week when living room comes round I will go through the glasses on the top shelf, get rid of the mismatched and horrid ones and put out the sets we have been given that are still in the cupboard in their packaging....! We have some lovely things under the clutter.

    Morning all (evening Denise!)

Hope you've all had a good night's rest, well as per the forecast it is p*ssing it down here but seeing as I am off to work today and tomorrow it can do what it likes!

It's all quiet on the western front, DD and DS still zzzing, will have to go and wake them soon. Not much flying will get done here although I shall do some tonight as I am not going out.

Hope you all have a productive day, enjoy the wine Denise Tchin.gif

  • morning all. Hope everyone is ok.

Rattie appears to have recovered and isn't rattling anymore, which is good. Been busy for the last hour or so tidying up and moving things out of the way for the plasterers.

    Updated list

Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs
    Wipe doors and handles
    Clean rat cage
    Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
Clean floors in these rooms(even if it is around clutter)

    Extra mission:
    * Clean any ornamental objects in either of these rooms
    * Take a duster and wipe around the tops of your door frames – as many as you can manage in 5 minutes (it’s shocking how dusty it gets.)
    * Use a wire coat hanger and a duster to get down behind the radiator and get them bits you never normally reach
    * Wash your coasters (this one definitely for me as one stuck to my glass last night and then fell off braking a glass – doh)
    * Take things off a shelve (cupboard or storage shelf) so you can wipe the shelve and anything else that needs it - could do with doing the shelf with the garden things on
    * Declutter your handbag
    * Clean shoes so they are ready to use again
    * Sort out your present cupboard - oddly enough I did that the other day
