Well I got nothing done yesterday, we were on a roll and ended working late yesterday which meant i had -5mins to get home (by bike a 10 mins cycle!) grab my stuff and get out the door to go to Oxford!

So my plan of campaign for today when i get home - on time this time! for the 3.5hrs im home is to:

    Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
Dusting and cobweb removal (if you want to dust round things that is fine)
    Level 2
    Vacuum floor and sofas
    Clean window
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Level 3
    Wipe light switches and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors etc
Tidy shoes, coats and bags - bought a new shoe rack at the weekend, put it up but havent moved the shoes on to it!!
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)

    Extra Mission:
    * Take a duster and wipe around the tops of your door frames – as many as you can manage in 5 minutes (it’s shocking how dusty it gets.)
    * Wash your coasters (this one definitely for me as one stuck to my glass last night and then fell off braking a glass – doh)

    Wednesday: Bathroom
    Level Two
    Clean floor
    Clean bath, toilet and sink
    Level Three
    Wipe down tiles in bathroom
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
    Clean windows

    Extra mission:
    * Sort your airing cupboard

I also want to attempt the floordrobe in my room. I havent actually had any time in my house since bringing the washing in on Sunday and its just sat there and of course is now collecting more clothes!!

Pigpen - are you feeling better today? I dont think your mean, I was made to do stuff from as early as i can remember.
Shirley and everyone else with men troubles - I dont have a man at the moment and im rather enjoying not having the !!!!!y comments, and they say they are worse than women!!!
Solway - least you actually check in - i dont get a chance in the eve!!
    bonnie - welcome
    katherine - get better soon
LJD1 - just seen your sig thats amazing!!

Right back to work, i think ive sloped off enough!!
    Axxx
  • LJD1 If you are mean then im terrible, i get my 2 year old to help
Tracey ( i think) im sure you are a great mum, the fact that you worry you arent seems a good indicator to me that you are if that makes sense.

i have had a friend staying this week so have done no flying, house is tidy ish but really needs a good clean, she goes at 2pm then i have a couple of jobs to do out of the house then its onto this lot!

I need to buy binbags too.. I seem to have used all mine in a recent flying spate.

I have to find somehting for dinner as well.. the freezer is pretty bare apart from 2 dozen tubs of 'freezer surprise.. I must learn to write on the tubs what they contain.. I thought I was having spag bol for dinner and got tuna pasta bake!!!

I am going to sort these parcels first I think.. get rid of them while I have some cash!

Just popped in to get a recipe for OH - I set a box of hobnobs in with him and he's just appeared on MSN demanding the recipe :D:rotfl::rotfl: Sent him the link to just that post, not the whole thread or the recipe index - I've got to have some secrets :rotfl::rotfl:

Currently printing out statistics for the school website so I can have them to refer to. I think I'm going to have to have a word with them about putting the website on the letterhead (they did say they would do it originally  ) as the stats are down alot. Lots of referals from here and other forums I frequent :rotfl: Oh well, I need to go and wash my hair in a minute so I'll finish printing these off, wash hair then have lunch & get my bag together (notebook, pen, bottle of water, money etc ) and then I'll have my bath & get changed. Must remember to put the digital camera in my bag as I've had it in the kitchen taking pictures of the gold-finch we've had in our garden this morning :D Laters

    a010.gifMorning everyone.

I've come to sit down for a reviving cuppa with lots of sugar. In my pursuit of clean bathroom windows this morning I managed to nearly knock myself out on the window blind. The blind is a roman one (so very old;)) and 2 of the cords on the back snapped as I pulled it up. I tried fixing it but it has been there since we moved into this house 5 years ago :o and I've never tried to take it down before and now I know why. The top was tacked over a piece of very solid wood which as i was taking in down loosened it's own screws and jumped off the wall clobbering me. I did feel very queasy for a while though ok now..... sick3qx.gif

Morning all - just!!! Don't time fly ??

Well Wednesday is my "Extra" bits day but is dedicated to clearing the book and CD piles in the study - and the hall - and the garage ... Did the ironing yesterday so that is out the way.

Have S&S'd the kitchen and the bathrooms, done a poo run, been to the PO with Amazon and other post and done the dailies with the dogs ( grooming etc). One or two bits to do as the day progresses but all in all pretty free.

Went to docs this morning for my "curiosities" to have another blood test. Seems my calcium level is way up and there is a possibility of a thyroid prob but he seems to think it is very unlikely, which is comforting with all that is happening at the moment!

Hugs to everyone especially Shirley - lock your 'puter down girl!!!!

    Morning all

I'm all out of sync with the lists but never mind!

This morning I've cut the grass back and front and swept up. One load of washing dry already and put away. The forecast is for rain later so I wanted to get these jobs done first.

Then I dusted living room and computer desk and vacuumed living room, hall, kitchen and up the stairs.

That will do for today. It's very hot and humid out, we could do with some rain. Got an hour now before I start cooking so I'm going to wander round the internet!

Well I have done todays extra mission lol.... best do the real jobs now.

The sun has just come out which is good news and means I can hang out my basket full of washing and maybe strip a bed or 3.

The ebay parcels are just about all done so I shall bag them up and load them onto the buggy for posting when we go collect the mini-me's. I have sorted another pile to photograph when I get 5 minutes as well.

I have decided the back room is now under the bracket of 'the study' seeing as the pc is in here and it fits with todays tasks.. so I shall scrape all the junk to the middle of the floor and the grubs can clear it when they get home, it is predominantly their junk anyway so not unreasonable of me to expect them to shift it.

Goodness knows what we are having for dinner.. I can't find a thing worth eating in the cupboard.. though I've not starved anyone yet so I guess I will find something... I am considering having a go at fishcakes when I am feeling a bit less grotty... more drugs and and a cuppa then I shall battle 'the study'
