The vets just called - temperature is back to normal and no sign of any problems in the urine sample they have taken. So this is good news.

Also he is eating like he never had had any food in his life - so that is back to normal too.

Blood tests results will be back tomorrow as we have Bank Holiday - so have to wait for those.

    They keep him on antibiotics/fluids.

Fingers crossed that is/was nothing serious.

Do not want to pick him up till he is 100% back to himself though as do not want to go through the mad panic again.

    Thanks again everyone xx

I was under the impression Goddards have an onsite diagnostics laboratory available 24/7 so not sure why there's a delay on results.

    Great news.

Will be interesting to hear what the hospital says after the blood test results.

Just had a phone call from Goddards - blood tests came back all fine, temperature is gone.

Macius ate lion's portion of cat food and proceeded to trying to demolish the crate he is in, shouting out to be let out.

Told it is ok to pick him up tonight.

No idea whate the reason for temperature was but suggested that as he goes out - he could have picked something up.

Ermmm all my cats go out and all are fine, Macius was fine too till I picked him up from the previous vets on Wednesday so my take on it is that he picked something up there.

Main thing, he is coming back home today and aparently he is all good.

Thanks - just brought him home (long day at work and had to take my daughter to a hospital too so picked him up around 8:30pm).

He was given painkillers, twice per day for 3 days - still no idea what was wrong with him.

Hope he is ok now - they asked me to bring him for a check up in a week's time.

    No diagnosis. No idea.

He is a bit slow (was given injection before he was handed to me) and I was told his pupils may be dileted a bit and he may seem lethargic - from painkillers.

    Hmmmm
