Poor Macius

Hope he's back to normal soon xx
Or should I say his usual self
xx 0 -
he would most likely have been given painkiller as it would have helped get his temp down.0

Poor Macius. What a terrible time he's having lately.
I wonder whether its possible to get a second opinion if he doesn't improve.
Did Goddards treat him for lameness and not try to find out what was really wrong?
Maybe he's been mistakenly overdosed with the morphine-like drugs? That happened to my Mother in hospital. It took a week for it to get out of her system.
Your other cats are smelling that he's weak and the unfamiliar smell of the hospital. Can you keep them apart for a bit?
Is he still interested in food and drink?
Maybe give him some grooming sessions to liven him up?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Any more posts you want to make on something you obviously know very little about?"
Is an actual reaction to my posts, so please don't rely on anything I say.

How is Mrcus this morning GR? Like Dinmey if you cant see any improvement I would be going back asap. Although we dont really need to say that as we know you fight your furkids corners better than some parents do their human kids xxxxRIP TJ. You my be gone, but never forgotten. Any update for us GR?0

I am at work all day.
He was still bit slow this morning but I guess it may be a while for the morphine to wear off.
He sleeps with me as usual, eats, drinks normal just a bit "slow" not sure how to explain that - when you know your pet you kind of see when something is not quite right.
When in bed with me, he gets all the cuddles, neck rubs etc etc.
He is at home with my daughter, she is defending him from the other cats when they try to pick on him - she is unwell herself, we had 3 AE trips this week alone, last one at 2:45 am last night with an ambulance so things are a bit stresfull all over.
Thanks for asking xx0 -
Our Vets have inhouse facilities and do all their own testing. BUT we have to wait, and yes sometimes for a few days. To the poster who has used this vets for out of house blood work, wow if you received same day results then all I can say is, Wow that must have cost the pet owner a fair bit.
For crying out loud, why do some folk feel the need to have a go at some one is beyond me. All I care about is a poorly kitty, as does GR and any other normal human being. What do you want? I bet if GR posted a written report from the Vets you would pick holes in it.
Anyways GR I hope you Daughter is ok and of course poor little Marcus. Keep your chin up GR. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxRIP TJ. You my be gone, but never forgotten. Well said Chris. Don't know what's happening on these forums lately with all the back biting.0 -

Really now you do surprise me. T3 and T4 (Thyroid bloods for anyone that didnt know). My Teej had these bloods run monthly for nearly 4 years so I do know about these.
Bloods were taken then an hour later another lot. I used to take and stay with Teeg for these by the way. This was the only blood work (and Teeg had many) that warranted a phone call the same day, even if it was after 8pm at night.
The Liver/Kidney and Cushing blood work was always the next day at the earliest.
I am sorry i have added this to Marcus's thread, but, things are not always black and white are they.
Now back to the main reason for this thread.
GR hows Marcus doing tonoght please? xxRIP TJ. You my be gone, but never forgotten.
