Macius at the vets, stomach pumped, ate a tablet

    I spoke to another vet, they said they would flush his stomach too just in case so looks like the vets done what they should - all so confusing with contradicting information...

    Macius eats/drings/pees/poos and shouts out at everyone that passes his cage as normal.

    Blood test tomorrow and hopefully back home...

    Scary.. but fingers crossed all is good.

    Had a phone call this morning, bllod tests good so picking the little horror up after work tonight.

    Just saw this gettingready! You must be so relieved that wee trouble is going to be ok! They don't half make you go bald!:) ....and I bet you have a much harder time getting Macius to take his own tablets !!:rotfl: than when he's pinching someone else's!. Bet he stoats around like a total innocent when you get him home:rotfl:
    Totally agree about insurance. My 4 NAND my dog cost me £90 a month with petplan and I have often thought about stopping it and saving it up as I have never needed it......but I keep it cos you just never know when the daft wee !!!!!!s will do something daft!

    it is so depressing that some vets are like this- they should be struck off if they aren't prepared to give emergency treatment WHEN IT IS NEEDED
    DONT BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE. GET YOUR ANIMALS NEUTERED TO SAVE LIVES.
