My place certainly looks lived in, I just don't clutter it up with crap. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
omg haha!!!
Edit: Thoughts on this beauty?
Eww... Eww and treble Eww! Canopy thing would have to go, bedspread thingy and cushions would have to go. The bedside table, and flowers could stay.
ps, whats the little pot thingy doing on the bedside table? Three guesses as if its use or ornament?
The fan surely has to be a mistake, right? The bookcase.... If they can afford such dire taste in bedding, surely they can afford a kindle.
Meow!!!!:D
That's my b!tchy comment of the day.
It's an air freshening reed diffuser.
The 'eco' alternative to the electric plug-in scented thingy and safer than lit candles.
Easy to knock over too. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
We do have a few lamps and candlesticks as ornaments, and a few of my husband's lovely minerals, but that's it. Not the 'presents from Rhyl' and cups and saucers that my mum and m-i-l had!(AKA HRH_MUngo)

I have 2 cushions on our sofa for 2 reasons:
1. they came with it
2. they are handy for napping or resting my hot dinner plate on.
I hate ornaments, I have fresh cut flowers but no plants inside.
I only buy scented candles at Christmas as I love the smell of cinnamon and mulled wine but I don't drink mulled wine.0 -

My mum has reed diffusers and hers have an anti spill top.0 -
We have one photo which is in a small frame of our wedding. I really can't understand people who have humongous pictures of themselves all over the walls. I think it was on come dine with me where I saw a lady who had pictures of her face all over the house (every room), and this other fella who had a picture of his half naked wife which was about 4ft x 4ft over the dining table. If I wanted to stare at myself every two seconds, I'd go in front of a mirror.0

If they turned up unannounced it would look lived in; most day's I've got my craft stuff everywhere. It only looks super clean when they visit as I tidy all the stuff away.0 -
I know someone who tends to have photos of herself all over the house:rotfl:
Maybe she needs to remind herself of what she looks like?
I don't do photos in frames either. The only picture I do have is the one I use as wallpaper on my pc and phone. Its of my newborn grandson.

I agree with most of the comments - but nothing beats a bookcase! I have a kindle, but I would live nothing more than making one of the spare rooms into a library!Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0
