Phone DWP and check date they received the hard copy, as they email it, then send the actual form. Mine was 17 working days from when they got the hard copy until it was assessed, (and one the file when I phoned) and about a week after that until I got the letter.
Yours should be 6 June :)

This just gets better and better honestly you couldn't make it up, phoned DWP they have not received the copy of report ( email) which I was told was sent on 14th may and she said it would be instant,so back on the phone to capita who now tell me the first version that it hasn't been written up yet :/ so got put forward to the complaints dept, who have now launched an investigation into why it is taking this long, also why was I told it had been sent to DWP, and also on her system it said near enough complete to go to audit, why the HCP had not completed the report as yet as she has had since 7th February, so now my husband is in process of contacting my MP, also been told they will contact me with regards to investigation but this can take up to 20 days, then the report will get audited and then sent to DWP so I could still be waiting months!! apparently the system is suppose to flag when someone approaches 26 weeks according to this woman, so they also wanting to know why this hasn't happened. will keep you updated

dwp apparently queried something with Atos last week, emailed Atos today to see how long this would take and surprise surprise they told me to ring dwp as they haven't had any request anyway after telling them i have just been on phone to dwp they emailed back saying theyve asked dwp to resubmit their query. Already been waiting 41 weeks and cant see it being sorted out anytime soon.
  • It's the lack of communication, incorrect information and refusal for the DWP and ATOS/capita to accept responsibility for anything that goes wrong that makes it worse.
After waiting months and making countless telephone calls my assessment was arranged within days of me asking my MP if there was anything they could do. Whilst I was very grateful I was disappointed that they had to be involved, although it will give them insight into the mess that constituents are having to deal with, it's a waste of time and resources.
I hope that the report writing, auditing and decision making parts are now done more efficiently. I am truly dreading being passed from pillar to post again but DWP and ATOS if it's not.
Not sure how long to give it before I start chasing up the report status. 3weeks, less or longer?
