I haven't slept in days and been ill for weeks because I can't afford my medicine, and I've not been able to leave the house in months because I can't afford my treatment. Does anybody that claimed around the end of 2013 have their results back yet? How long does it take from the assessment to getting the result?
If you can afford a pre payment card, to pay monthly, could you do that? I pay less than a tenner a month for the card, there is no way I could afford the prescription charges, which would be not far off £100 a month.RIP Floyd - 19/04/09. I know i'll see you again my best friend forever.

I think it's supposed to be 4 weeks form when the report is done, but that can take ages it seems. I lost my blue badge when my DLA stoppped and can hardly go out now as I can't park! I lost £50 a week and am really struggling now
Can you not reapply for your blue badge? I got mine pretty quickly after answering a few questions over the phone. Good job I didn't have to wait for flipping pip because I'm still waiting for claim to be transcripted/added to system/audited/being sent to the moon/used as an atos paperweight/being forwarded to the DWP em.

Before doing this, check whether you're entitled to free prescriptions due to medical conditions. The criteria is hereSealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

I could just scream if I wasn't so upset with this whole sorry saga.
Sent an email a couple of days ago to the customer complaints team as it seems they are the only ones who can get things done. She had a case manager look at my medical evidence I sent for my MR and instead of making a new decision on that basis they have sent my report back to Atos for them to take into consideration and make any amendments to my report. So it would seem Atos could just decide it's irrelevant and not amend my report leaving me back where I started except having to go to tribunal.
I literally can't continue with all of this, I am a complete wreck. I haven't left my flat alone in two months and even then only to doctors appointments and as for looking after myself at all that's gone out the window completely. But if I don't carry on things will just get worse. I feel so trapped.0 -
Hi all
I applied in July 13 for PIP I had assessment by Atos in November, got declined in January and put in a Mandatory Reconsideration, I sent them a doctors report as evidence. I found out yesterday they were waiting for a report from Atos which they received back on the 11th march ... So now I'm waiting for my MR decision which they have told me it must be done with by the 1st AprilI don't claim any other benefits this is my first time, I do not understand why they have involved Atos at this stage ... At the assessment the lady I saw did not listen to what I said and also twisted my words this is my reasons for appeal, I scored 6 points for daily care and 0 for mobility. I applied for a blue badge myself before I claimed PIP and was issued with one after a OT assessment at the council offices. This has been the most traumatic thing I have ever done. I will take it to appeal if they turn me down again. Totally fed up

In exactly the same boat as me except you're a bit further alone with your MR. How long did it take Atos to send the report back to the DWP?
I concur with it being horribly stressful, wish I could just give up.0 -

I asked for the MR on 17th Jan, and I was not told they would be contacting atos again ... I have rung dwp almost everyday. They got my doctors report on 25th Feb so they must have asked atos after then, i reckon it took about 2 weeks.
Don't give up, we have come so far , I hope they let ya know soon what's going on the waiting is terrible, and I am willing to go to appeal if I have to.
Best regards Jo0 -

Yes, I'll go to appeal too, I have to really, I'll lose my flat without a care award due to passporting. No-one can believe I was declined, not friends, doctors or even acquaintances! It has undoubtedly expedited some of my deterioration though which makes me even angrier.0 -
Hiya, I applied early November for PIP, I went for my assessment early February. It is finally in Audit from last week, but how long does this last please ? Also, when it finally gets to the decision maker what is the timescale for that ? And also, is PIP backdated or not please ? Thanks, Sharon0
