Hello all, update on the shambles that is my pip journey. My phone call today went as follows.
Hi, can you give me any updates as I about to email mr Brian pepper to list my concerns about the delays I have experienced... Yes, your claim is going through the process.... Ah, ok, can you explain what that means please...... Yes, it means your claim is going through the process ...... Great news, does that mean the claim has been transcribed and added to the system ready for audit? ..... Let me just put you on hold while I look into it, ok, your case has been passed to senior management... Brilliant, can senior management add details and audit my claim?....... No, senior management are going to chase up your claim from the healthcare practioner.... My claim has already been received, the paperwork was received the week after I attended my assessment on the 17th..... No, your paperwork isn't here.
So , I've emailed Brian.pepper@atos.net. My mp wrote to him on the 3rd of march requesting that he urgently look into my case.
I suggest everyone out there that is experiencing the same delays, and pathetic excuses for the delays email Brian pepper who is the national customer relations manager for atos. These delays are unacceptable, we suffer enough as disabled people without having to endure this depressing journey for scraps of help that will help maintain a degree of normality .RIP Floyd - 19/04/09. I know i'll see you again my best friend forever.

"The time between making the initial claim and getting a decision on PIP entitlement is expected to be about 12 to 15 weeks. However, claims for PIP are currently taking longer than expected. The actual time to get a decision on a claim depends on individual circumstances. In some cases it can take about 21 to 26 weeks." Just seen this from DWP on a document called 'PIP toolkit' printed in March 2014. My claim is over 26 weeks already and I've not had my assessment yet!!!0

Hi all
I'm still waiting for my Mandatory Reconsideration decision it's been 8 weeks or so since I requested it. I've rang them a few times and they say I should hear soon ....
If i don't hear by the end of this week I think I will lose all of my hair .... Arghhh

I'm now in my 38th week!!! "Why are we waiting!"
Wonder if sarcasm would help, in frustration I'd write them and say my circumstances had changed now suffering from alopecia- on the other hand they'd probably say start all over. so not worth the bother

38th week .... Omg , it's so wrong all this
They would ... Say It was self inflicted haha0 -
Think I've just discovered that my local MP was instrumental in the implementation of the wonderful PIPS scheme
Would I be cynical to question his lack of response to my emails?0 -
I have spoken to dwp just now... They sent to atos on 25th February for them to do a report for my reconsideration atos sent that back on 11th March, the lady just now said it can take up to 28 days .... Last week I should hear in 10 days ...
I've been told they have a dead line of 1st April to finish ... I think they just make things up just to confuse you more. I'd rather have all my teeth pulled than do all this again
