Just got off with the very helpful DWP customer services lady and I go it!!!!!
Mandatory Reconsideration successful, enhanced daily living. I believe I should have got at least some of the mobility but I'm just relieved I can now relax about keeping my flat without worrying.
Awarded until October 2015, back pay winging its way to me as is the letter detailing the decision.
What a massive weight off my shoulders. Just ESA to contend with now but I only applied for that late November.0 -

I honestly think if I hadn't involved the customer services team including my MP in on every email sent, I would still be waiting. Kicking up a fuss with the right people made a difference. Mp on his own wouldn't have worked, complaining to PIP wouldn't have been enough and complaining to Atos most certainly wouldn't have been enough. Complain to all of them, all at once, got things moving and quickly.
I'm going to splash out on Japanese take away tonight!0 -

I'm still waiting for my mandatory reconsideration decision ... Supposed to ring tomorrow and they should have it by then ... I highly doubt it like lol.
Good luck to all waiting0 -
I did a blog post detailing the process up until requesting reconsideration, if you go to the end there's the email addresses I used to send a complaint to.
In the end, my reconsideration from point of confirming receipt of further info to decision was 2 weeks and that includes waiting for a response to my further complaints. Give it a go anyone who feels they're stuck.
