    just been reading all the posts and know how you all feel, i applied for pip on 1/7/13. had my medical off capita on 3/9/13.. from november i rang them weekly and was told every single time it was in the last stages!! its being processed!!, its just needs to be checked to make sure of no mistakes!! on the 28th of feb 2014 they finally sent of my stuff to pip BUT it never got to pip it got lost along with several others!!! they had to resend it all last monday, ive been told now i should get a decision in next 3 weeks!!

  • It's kinda scary how long it's taking people, a claim put in today looks like it would take till September to go through then most likely be turned down.

    I applied in September- 2 cancelled appointments in Feb and early March (after almost daily phone calls to them) eventually saw someone last week. I've started phoning re the checks already...

    I dread to think what will happened in October 2015 when DLA claimants are starting to be transferred over.

    I was actually in receipt of DLA top rate of mobility, but it ran out and I never received a reminder. I was advised that I could not reapply for DLA and had to apply for PIP as they were taking no new DLA applicants.
  • Hi Serendipity, looks like we're at the same stage- I applied for PIP in September and finally had my Atos appt last Thursday. I wasn't sure when to start chasing so interesting to see it may not be too soon already.
