Hope this isn't going off the subject, but can anyone explain the PIP as opposed to DLA?

I'm currently on DLA (higher for both) indefinitely, so just wondering when this will get changed to PIP?

DLA claimants will be invited from October 2015 to apply for PIP. I am not sure (apart from those with a fixed term award) what order we'll be transferred over in.

Had my decision on Thursday last week and still waiting for the back dated money to hit my account. Hopefully it will be there tomorrow but payments usually only take 3 days to hit my account, feel like they're toying with me one last time!

Haven't received my letter yet either, starting to feel a little paranoid I dreamed that conversation on Thursday..........

Really wish I wasn't such an anxious person!

Will this saga never end? Got my letter confirming award and back payment amount. It also said money should be in my account yesterday, which it obviously wasn't and still isn't so I called them......

The payment has been recalled by the computer and they've no idea why!!!!!!! Are you flipping kidding me! There are no notes to say why it's been recalled so emailed whoever issues the payments to ask for a call back with a 5 day window. I don't think so.

So straight on the phone to helpful customer services lady who helped push my reconsideration through in super quick time and she is now onto the case. Unbelievable. One thing after another.

This whole thing is unbelievable. You really couldn't make it up...It's like one of these scifi books of a Dystopian future, that the readers think is too far fetched...
