Thanks for that info, I shall definitely phone Atos tomorrow. My assessor wasn't exactly approachable so I didn't end up asking about timescales. I agree about chasing, my appointment came very quickly after my MP got involved.0

I dread to think what will happened in October 2015 when DLA claimants are starting to be transferred over.
Particularly as a lot of peoples awards have been made until then, including mine. So all the DLA people moving over plus reassessments will have started plus new applicants. I can see even more of a meltdown happening and things being pushed back again with the roll out.0 -
hubby applied for pip 05/08/2013, finally got a cancellation app for assessment 27/02/2014, rang Atos a couple of times to be told its in audit and they cant give a timescale, is there anyway to hurry them up, already been waiting 33 weeks since 1st phone call.0

Hi
you can try writing to your MP but Atos are just snowed under so I doubt any real help. I phoned both the DWP and Atos twice a week for updates, wrote to my MP and the CEO of Atos and like many others have waited 38 weeks however last week Atos returned the audit to DWP so I'm on the final run ( I hope)
Light at the end of the tunnel for you? don't know but every week that passes you have to be a week closer.
Hang in there

thanks Ian, will ring Atos again Thursday then email mp x0

Call me a cynic - and I love email but a letter sent recorded and signed for is undeniable. Not casting aspersions but.....
My application form was lost never received by the DWP but when I told them it was signed for by xxxx inside 10 min utes it was found.
Similarly an email to my MP was "probably assigned to spam" but my letter had a response
